Drugs at uni

While my primary reason is because I’m scared, I’m also pretty skint. If I wanted to buy a gram of MDMA, it would cost me around £40.
....
£40 is a lot of money to spend on such a small amount of stuff for such a limited high. If it was a high that lasted for three days then hey, maybe I’d reconsider because that shit is worth the money.

A gram of MDMA should be easy to stretch out over three (hopefully widely separated) days.

She looks fat, there's no way she can drink her own body weight in alcohol...

8 pounds to the gallon, a petite woman would have to drink 12-15 GALLONS of vodka to match their body weight. I call shenanigans on this wretch.

I can get 40 pounds worth of drugs that'll last you 3 days sweetheart ;)

Also, what is "drugs"? The article seems to be mostly about MDMA, but I'd guess that rare MDMA usage is probably not as unhealthy for you as even semi-regularly drinking your "body weight in vodka"

Didn't even bother reading the article after the first paragraph saying "I'm okay drinking loads of alcohol, but never going to take drugs". Alcohol is a drug, a very strong and harmful one at that. And who gives a fuck what your psychoactive preferences are? I like cycling, but never going to do skating. Do you see me writing a long article about it?

I think we should get rid of the term "drugs" as used in this article (of the "drugs are bad mkaay" style), because it's neither objective and correct, nor is it any useful for a normal discussion. When will people get it into their thick heads that there is no black and white distinction, and that many drugs are benign and much less harmful than alcohol?
