Sorry if there has been a topic posted on this already, please direct me to it, or a website as i couldnt find it...

But, yes, there are many myths about how long each drug stays in ur system and how u can get tested and shit comes up positive

I was just wondering the 100% correct information if anyone has it for the following drugs

LSD (acid, trips)
Amphetamines (speed)
MDA/MDMA
Mushrooms
marijuana
Cocaine
Methamphetamines (meth, ice, shabs)

Any information would be greatly appreciated

dont mean to hijack ur thread but i have a related Q, is it possible to saturate you blood with a given chem, so you cannot absorb anymore?
specifically THC and other non polar drugs

from http://www.ohsinc.com/how_long_do_drugs_stay_in_your_system.htm

How long do drugs (including alcohol) stay in your system?
Well...it depends on you!

The length of time any drug (illicit or prescribed) stays in your system will vary. In large part, it depends on your physiological makeup (e.g., your physical height, weight, your amount of body fat, your age, current state of health, whether or not you exercise mildly-aggressively-or at all). Whether or not you are undergoing any degree of stress (i.e., your "state of mind") at the time you ingest drugs can play a part as well.

Still other considerations include your "frequency" of use (1x per day? 3-5x per day?), the "quantity" of drug you used each time, and the "length of time" (days? weeks? months?) of your consistent drug-use prior to your drug test. Even the quality ("potency") of the drug you ingest determines "how long" the drug is detectable in your system when your urine is analyzed (tested) at the lab.

However, for most people, detectable levels (i.e., shows up as a "positive" in a laboratory drug test) of the following drugs stay in the body for these approximate periods of time. As you review the figures below, please keep these three thoughts in mind, too:

"Drug-Use Is Life Abuse...Drug-Use Is Self-Abuse...Drugs Destroy Dreams!"

Alcohol (Beer, Booze, Hooch, Liquor, Wine), 1hour to perhaps 10 or 12 hours (Yes, alcohol IS a drug! Drinking more than "in moderation" can lead to alcohol (drug) abuse...and perhaps alcoholism. During 2002, more than 18,000 people in the U.S. were killed by too-boozed-up DRUNK drivers! DON'T BE ONE OF THEM THIS YEAR!) CLICK HERE for more information about alcohol abuse and alcoholism.

Amphetamines (Biphetamine, Black Beauties, Crosses, Dexedrine, Hearts), 1-2 days

Anabolic steroids (Stanzolol, Stanazolol, Nandrolene; Steroids, Roids, Juice), oral- up to 3 weeks; injected- up to 3-6 months and more

Barbituates (Amytal, Nembutal, Seconal, Phenobarbital; Barbs), 2-3 days

Benzodiazepines (e.g., Ativan, Halcion, Librium, Rohypnol, Valium; Roofies, Tranks, Xanax), 2-3 days

Cocaine (Candy, Coke, Crack, Flake, Rocks, Snow, Whitecoat), (Candy, Coke, Crack, Flake, Rocks, Snow, Whitecoat), 1-2 days

Codeine (e.g., Fiorinal w/codeine, Robitussin A-C, Empirin w/codeine, Tylenol w/codeine, 1-2 days

GHB (G, Grievous Bodily Harm, Goob, Liquid Ecstasy, Liquid X), 1-2 days

Heroin (Horse, Smack), 1-2 days

Inhalents, just a few hours

Ketamine (K, Kit Kat, Special K, Vitamin K), 2-4 days

LSD (Acid, Blotter, Microdot, Yellow sunshine), a few hours or up to 5 days

Marijuana (Bud, Blunt, Grass, Herb, Pot, Reefer, Sinsemilla, Smoke, Weed), 2-5 days (the daily, heavy user can sometimes be detected up to 30+ days)

MDMA (Ecstasy), 1-5 days

Methadone, 1-7 days

Methamphetamines (Crank, Crystal, Desoxyn, Glass, Ice, Speed), 2-4 days

Methaqualone (Ludes, Quaaludes), 10-15 days

Nicotine (Cigarettes, Cigars, Habitrol patch, Nicorette gum, Nicotrol spray, Prostep patch; Smokeless tobacco, Snuff, Spit tobacco), 1-2 days

Opiates (i.e., Opium: China, Dreams, Laudanum, Paregoric; Dover's Powder), 1-2 days

Oxycodone (OxyContin, Percolone, Roxicodone), 1-2 days

PCP (Angel Dust, Boat, Hog, Love Boat), 1-8 days

For chronic drug users, drugs (other than alcohol) can be retained in the system much longer by the chronic-user after their last use. For instance, marijuana and PCP can be detected for up to 60-90 days after lengthy, heavy-use periods of use.

Drug Testing Information
What Do They Test For?

Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash)
Cocaine (cocaine, crack, benzoylecognine)
Amphetamines (amphetamines, methamphetamines, speed)
Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine, morphine)
Phencyclidine (PCP)
Types of Drug Tests

There are three primary types of drug sample: blood, urine, and hair. Most common is the urine test which has the benefit of being inexpensive and less intrusive than the blood test.
Urine Tests

* Are the least expensive of the test methods (~$25-$50).
* Can be done at home (for example by parents).
* Detect use primarily within the past week (longer with regular use).
* Can be affected by abstaining from use for a period of time before the test.
* Are often temperature tested to insure sample integrity.

Hair Tests

* Are considered the least intrusive method of drug testing.
* Are currently many times more expensive than urine tests (~$100-$150).
* Detect substance use over a longer period (see detection times).
* Do not usually detect use within the past week.
* Require a sample of hair about the diameter of a pencil and 1.5 inches long. They can not be done with a single hair.
* Test positive a little more than twice as often as a urine test. In a recent study, out of 1823 paired hair and urine samples, 57 urine samples tested positive for drugs of abuse; while 124 hair samples from the same group tested positive.
* Are not significantly affected by brief periods of abstinence from drugs.
* Can sometimes be used to determine when use occured and if it has been discontinued. Drugs, such as opiates (codeine, morphine, heroin) lay down on the hair shaft very tightly and are shown not to migrate along the shaft, thus, if a long segment of hair is available one can draw some "relative" conclusions about when the use occurred. However cocaine, although very easy to detect, is able to migrate along the shaft; making it very difficult to determine when the drug was used and for how long.
* Claims to be able to reliably differentiate between opiate and poppy seed use.

Blood Tests

* Are considered the most intrusive method of testing.
* Are the most expensive method of testing.
* Are the most accurate method of testing.
* Are the least common method of testing (most likely due to cost).

Detection Periods
Drug Approximate Detection Time in Urine:

Alcohol 1-2 days
Amphetamines (crystal, Ice, crank, methamphetamines) 5-7 days
Barbituates Short-Acting (ie. secobarbital) 1-2 days
Barbituates Long-Acting (ie. phenobarbital) 2-3 weeks
Benzodiazepines (Librium®,Valium®,Serax,Xanax®) 2-30 days
Cannabinoids (THC,Marijuana) 20-90 days
Clenbuterol 2-4 days
Cocaine (Crack) 3-5 days
Codeine 2-5 days
Euphorics (MDMA, Ecstasy) 3-7 days
LSD 1-4 days
Methadone 3-5 days
Methaqualone (Quaalude) l-14 days
Opiates (heroin, Vicode, morphine, codeine) 2-7 days
Phencyclidine (PCP, Angel Dust) 1-30 days
Phenobarbital 10-20 days
Propoxyphene (Darvon) 1-3 days
Psilocybin (mushrooms) 3-5
Steroids (anabolic) oral 14 days

The amount of time any drug can be detected in one's system can vary from person to person and test to test. It certainly can also depend on the amount of the drug taken and when it was taken relative to the time of the test. Keeping in mind that there is no 100% hard and fast rule for how long a drug will be in one's system, listed above are some general guidelines on the drug test detection time for various drugs.

Detection Time is the number of days after intake of a drug that an individual would be expected to excrete detectable levels of drug metabolite in urine. These are average times only _ for each drug, detection may be possible (but less likely) for significantly longer than listed. Detection may be influenced by a variety of factors including dosage, frequency of use, liquid consumption, and individual metabolic characteristics.

Note: Detection times will vary depending on analytical method used, drug metabolism, tolerance, patient's condition, fluid intake and method and frequency of ingestion. These are general guidelines only, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information.

I'm off to the doctors now so I don't really have time to compare the (numerous) web pages.. On a bad note, I think I have shingles (find out when I see the doctor I guess.) Damn chicken pox virus!

Very roughly and erring on the side of caution:

Marijuana - depends on how regular and the levels taken. 3-4 weeks for a mild-regular smoker is considered the minimum, although a single joint may be at a non-detectable limit within a few days. Note I say may

Meth, MDMA should be pretty much gone within 5-7 days, although 9-10 is a safer bet if you're a regular/ big user

Cocaine is gone within 1 day from memory, although I'd definitely give it 2 or more to be safe - depending upon dosage/s.

LSD should be under detectable limits within ~24 hours. New detection methods claim 48 hours, but these are not used in workplace testing AFAIK. Psilocybin should also be gone within ~ 24 hours.

THESE ARE APPROXIMATIONS ONLY. Other variables also contributing include; your state of health and your body's individual preferences for particular routes of metabolism.

I say this to everyone concerned with such matters.

If you're concerned you're going to be tested in the workplace, then get a hold of one of the tester kits prior to this, and then you can convince yourself or otherwise that you'll will be OK. I shouldn't have to tell you how to go about this, but I will say that it's your right to know what forms and systems are to be used when you're notified you're to be tested.

mmm...somebody might think about marketing these kits. Just think how popular the angle of advertising would be with the establishment.
Urine and Saliva Drug Kits Available as used throughout the Australian workplace =D

Remember that drugs metabolise at rates determined largely by their respective half lives. Cocaine has a 1/2 life of ~20mins, meth has one something like 12-17 hours.

Bluelight has a good FAQ's forum too.... :)

Drug Testing Methods - written by Undocumented

Although those tests are more to do with urine and hair testing that is more common workplace testing. Blood testing is not very common as standard practise at the workplace as far as I know.

And like with every test there are ways to cheat so to speak......

On a bad note, I think I have shingles (find out when I see the doctor I guess.) Damn chicken pox virus!

Jeez Wazza I hope you don't have shingles 8(

If you do turn out to have shingles, stay tucked up and warm, no naughty things, and eat well. People can die of shingles!

A person who is suffering from a disease that damages the immune system, or who is taking anticancer drugs that suppress the immune system, is a prime candidate for an attack of shingles. Even among healthy individuals, temporary depression of the immune system because of stress, a cold, and even sunburn may be associated with an attack of shingles....

Shingles is a serious threat to life in immunosuppressed individuals — for example, those with HIV infection or patients with cancer who are receiving treatments that can weaken their immune systems. These treatments destroy cancerous tissue but unfortunately they also have the potential to damage cells of the immune system that normally fight invading organisms. Patients who receive organ transplants (for kidney disease, for example) are also vulnerable to shingles.

Not saying for a moment you fit the above categories, but it's something everyone should be aware of, as it's more common than some might think.

Sounds as if your holiday left you a bit worse for wear aye mate? ;)

*side note* It is a (seveer case) Shingles.. Well I was fairly stressed from work (working 20 hrs days for a week before I left for my break) as I didn't even think I was going to have holidays due to servers falling down. Had them going again 8:30 the night before I flew out.. Anyway, I'm doing no naughty things for a while. It's plain silly (and STUPID) to do naughty stuff (alcohol/chems etc) while being ill :)

And I always eat healthy... I guess it was probably stress and well, almost was told I had no job the day I got back. Long story. heh (all good now *I think*)

I saw my local chemist selling self urine tests kit while back.... for most common used drugs, but I have no idea if it's reliable.

^^ yep they were insane priced Phase Dancer... it was like a small box with container with some kind of PH type of tester thingy like these small strips of paper kinda like these strips of paper that diabetics use and you watch the colour changes or something I cannot remember.... it was few months back.... might check again next time I go there, its not that I go the chemist often. I don't need anything from there. =D

Mono

I'm not sure if I'm just overreacting or not, but i need someone's advice. Today I went to the doctor (I've been really sick lately) and they decided to test me for mono, which requires drawing blood. If they're just testing for Mono, can they detect other drugs in that test too, like Cannabis and DXM?

Unless you went to the doctor with your mother ;) no-one is allowed to test for anything without your permission. Although your doc probably didn't tell you what he's testing for, it will not include drugs, even if he thinks you're on them and he's very anti-drugs.

However, if you think your drug use or lifestyle may have affected your health, then you owe it to yourself to tell him. Dr's aren't magicians able to find out anything about you they choose. But your honesty might prevent a long way round to something you could have helped diagnose.

Be straight up if you can, find another doctor if you can't. But rest assure, at this time anyway, no doctor can test for something like drug metabolites, viruses like aids or hepatitis, or for anything you don't authorise. If he did, under present laws you could take him to the cleaners!

testing kits mailed out from QLD

there was a post from samadhi not long ago mentioning testing kits available by mail.
IF i remember correctly the ad was in the TV guide frm the sunday mail.

heres a link to the thread with a scanned pic of the ad.

Advertisment in Samadhis post

d.i.y marijuana urine test.

I might buy one of these tests just to see how effective they are.

Another thing I see at pharmacies when picking up my goodies is all these "anti-hangover" potions, does anyone here have any faith in them ?

I have this body-wash gel that is 'anti-hangover'

I'm not sure what it contains as I don't have access to the bottle at the moment, but I think from memory it may contain Magnesium (just a guess here?)

and when I've used it before going to bed of a night then also the following morning it seems to not completely get rid of my hangover but lessen the annoying effects of drinking excessively.
