I am lucky to be able to be open with my family about my use of psychoactives. They like the fact that I am willing to spend free time warning other people about the mistakes I have made in the past with drugs.

Well before this incident i had alot of trust in my mother, I should be able to leave it on auto-login without her looking.

Anyway this has positive sides to it, i can now talk with my mum about needles and being gay without feeling weird at all. But i tell ya now, if anyone ever does that again or invades anything private i will put them on show so bad they will be crying for their mummy.

My folks are pretty old, and even though they took a computer class watching them actually trying to operate one brings up memories of that scene in "Zoolander" where stiller and wilson are trying to find the information which is "hidden in" the computer!

although my mom thought it was really cool when i told her about something i "heard on the news" about a message board saving a members life who overdosed. i remember the posts a while back they tracked the kids IP and all that. Really, this is a great group of people with a wealth of knowledge and its good to have a place to share our knowledge so that everyone can safely fuck themselves up

They've never seen this website before but my mum doesn't ever invade my privacy, she'll clean my room (Being 17 is so good) and she will never look in my draws or anything. One of the main draws in my room has so much shit in it lik: Rizla, roaches that i've made, cigs, tobacco, E, various seeds (MS + HBWR) I trust her and she trusts me.

I got caught for doing weed like 3 years ago and after that I didn't do any drus for about a year, now because of that she trusts me a lot. I wont do stupid things on drugs because I wouldn't want to let her down.

Only a couple of my friends know about Bluelight, as far as my parents, I'm 20 years old so they can't do anything about it.

my parents know about my drug use, and I'm sure I've left bluelight up before. Not that big of a deal, really. I've been in rehab (both inpatient and outpatient), so it's not like they don't already know.. *shrugs*

My parents know about it but never expressed much interest in reading it... which would have been a good thing before my recent OD. Now it doesn't really matter they know all about my drug use.

My mother is a masters organic chemist, and is a good resource for me and on occasion, will help me make a post more easy to understand as far as the chemistry goes. I guess I am just lucky

My brother and sister are also well aware of my contributions to bluelight ang erowid.

Anyone else here a college student who is now home at their parents house for the summer?


I am, and man its really tough to deal with it. I went from you know, getting done with work school at like 6, and then drinking and partying until the next morning.


My parents arent super strict, but its just a big change. Like at school if I wanna smoke a bowl/drink a couple beers I can whenever I want. to at my parents house where I cant.

And my parents just bitch about the smallest shit all the time which is terrible. very annoying and I cant wait to be back on my own.

How are you all dealing with the change?
