my parents have never found anything harder than weed, thank god. the couple times theyve found it they just give me the "we dont want it in the house" and go back to being blissfully unaware of the signs of hard drug abuse.

my mum has found weed before and hidden it so i forced her to give it back which i always succeeded in doing.
now she knows not to go venturing into my room or she will get a rude shock a few hours later, but i am a very private person and she respects that now and she know that no matter what drugs i am using i will use them to the safest of my knowledge (which i am more knowledgable than her and shes a nurse so she trusts me)

the only thing she really doesnt like is the smell of pot in the house, and i dont like the smell of ciggerettes so it all works out fine, she doesnt smoke if im home and i dont bake if shes home.

Shes completly aware. She doesnt mind. Just as long as I'm safe and dont flaunt it. Which is fair enough.

Parents cool with drug use.

Many people have parents who accept there drug use. I am one of them.

My mom and step dad let me smoke weed in the house whenever I want just so long as im in my room. I smoke with my mother and she doesnt care if I took some boomers or smoked a fat blunt. Its so great having things this way.

Who else has it like this?

My friends mom was/is a hippy and u can search through her dresser and find just about every type of drug there is. I talk with her sometimes about weed and hallucinogens. She doesnt care if me and my friend smokew eed at her house either.

^ i wish my mum was a little more open minded. for a while she thought pot was a 'hardcore' drug and the next step up was heroin 8)
when i was 14 she found out i smoked pot a few times (honest.... ) she had a big talk with me about addiction and how it leads to prostitution!!
oh man, it took a lot of explaining, and her going back to school (mature age student) and hanging out with 'kids of today' for her to realise it aint quite as bad as she thought. haha.

god i wish. my parents know i smoke pot, and dont have a problem with it, other than the fact that im on probation. if they knew i was doing coke/heroin i think itd be a different story. i dunno, maybe theyd be more okay with coke.

Man i wish my parents were cool with it, my dad OD on Heroin when we has like 15, and had a huge coke problem the years leading up to my mom getting pregnant with me. SO i guess he is jus trippin about me doing the same thing. My mom straight up lies about her coke problem at the same time before she got pregnant with me. My step mom never did nething so she thinks its all hella bad. Ive gotten busted for drugs like 4 times by my parents.... and they are always like trying to tell me how im gonna end up in jail or on heroine from smoking weed LOL.

Hey did nebody else have to go to the "scared straigh" shit, where u go to the prison and they tell u how if u smoke weed soon ur gonna kill somebody for crack? Lol that shit was hilarious i had to go when i was like 13 for weed.

Eh, no. Sucks to be me, my parents bullshit me about how bad drugs are but I'll come home to find my dad passed out from drinking and taking klonopin some days. My former friend's dad was the coolest, he's a coke head to this day and he's fucking crazy.

Hard drugs I can understand the negativity because for the most part, they're kinda fucking bad for you.

My dad's a an old head. Been blazin since he was 12 (neigh on 33 years of smoking i guess). My mom doesn't touch anything. They don't care if i smoke,my mom just doesn't want to know about it. If she's not home and it's just my dad he doesn't care if i sit and smoke in the house though.

my parents sold/used drugs in front of me and my brother, for all of our life.

I feel that my life wouldn't be in shambles had I not been subjected to it by my parents...

My mom just pretty much ignores the fact that I do weed. I think she just figures as long as I don't do it a lot and around her then their isnt much she can doabout it. My dad is cool about it as long as I keep myself under control and don't overdo it. He did pot back in the day and has even tried acid(which surprised me) so he is generally pretty understanding about it

but if i get caught drunk i dont get in as much trouble when i get caught stoned


i know lots of people parents who are generally okay with drugs

and lots who have warped perceptions on them...
