If im smoking buds I'll want to listen to psy, although usually favouring groovy and progressive over full on or dark stuff. Shpongle always goes a treat as does old school blues like J J Cale and Muddy Waters. Don't mind some good rock like Incubus or Oasis even. Oh and Abakus definately deserves a mention.

I can't stand rap/hip-hop while on anything. Usually I enjoy classic rock for pretty much everything. However, when I'm rolling heavily, on mushrooms or cocaine, I don't enjoy music as I find it to be distracting and agitating. It's odd, I've never found music to be really enjoyable while on ecstasy, I find that it agitates the hell out of me.

Can't really say why either I suppose. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

With weed, any music I would normally enjoy, I will enjoy even more. With psychedelics, music like Shpongle, Entheogen, Mystical Sun, Shulman, and Infected Mushroom do great things as far as immersing myself into a closed-eye soundscape and taking the trip off in any number of directions. Although there are a few psychedelics where music is distracting. With mushrooms I prefer trippy rock like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, etc. It's calmer and I usually need to be a little calmer
