I say that a combo of weed, alcohol and a nice dip is by far the best to listen to music on... Just not too much weed. but drunk as fuck...

I can't stop listening to old school rap on this combo.

Shpongle (DMT, My Head Feels like a Frisbee, more I can't remember)

Ween (Alcan Road, Captain, Transdermal Celebration, So Many People in the Neighborhood, Among His Tribe, Mutilated Lips, Ice Castles, The Mollusk, Pink Eye on my Leg)

Buckethead (Big Sur Moon, most the stuff from Population Override and Colma)

Pink Floyd (High Hopes, everything from Wish You Were Here (CD) and Dark Side of the Moon)

Tool (most the stuff from Undertow and Lateralus, plus a few songs from Opiate and Aenima).

Sometimes some good progressive....sometimes metal.... sometimes something smooth like trance... sometimes experimental... sometimes something easy like J-pop/rock...

having seen Infected Mushgroom a few times, i'm over them, and most other psytrance on psychs. its hard to focus when the fast stuff is on.

these days, its psychedelic ambient, dubwise style, with soul, roots and plenty of tech, not too fast, not too slow.

Shpongle / Simon Postford / Hallucinogen
OTT
Shulman
Entheogenic
Kukan Dub Lagan
Ganja Beats
Dub Side of The Moon
Bill Laswell / Bob Marley Sons of Freedom

old standbys: Miles Davis, Glen Gould, Cocteau Twins, early Dead Can Dance, The Orb, Sun Ra, Can, Tangerine Dream.

good jam bands sometimes nice: Ozric Tentacles, Eat Static, STI, STS9, Acid Mothers Temple, Hawkwind.

freaky goth trips: Nurse With Wound, Lustmord, Current 93, Throbbing Gristle, early Christian Death, ealry Voivod.

for the rescue: live Grateful Dead.

DMT hands down. with Shpongle
LSD and live Grateful Dead
Cannabis and everything sounds good, especially stoner music

MDMA makes everything sound the same
dissociatives make everything sound like auditorily distorted shit

i like the grateful dead while tripping.
I remember one particular trip that wasnt going so well and as soon as i put on the dead it turned into one of the most euphoric experiences ever.
also you can never go wrong with shpongle

a few songs i've found incredible on mushrooms :
shakatura - tail
meat katie - devil in me
evil nine - cakehole
luke chable - melburn
quivver - boz boz (shiloh's mix)
miss kittin - professional sitortion (subsky's in your face mix)

^lol,I seem to enjoy good music with mostly anything, but what really gets it flowing is pot+mdma or pot+dxm or pot and blow and beer.

Ketamine + rap music

Is it just me or is rap music really enjoyable on K?

I'm talking about like, a tribe called quest, aesop rock and chopped n screwed stuff like DJ Screw.. which I understand was wrote mostly for robotripping/codeine anyway?

I love rap music - Def Jux, Rhymesayers, etc, etc, and I hate ketamine. Apart from the obvious connection of AceRock's 11:35 track from Bazooka Tooth, I don't really see the connection between good rap and ketamine. Care to enlighten?
