I want calm when I am stimmed out. I like harder electro, goa, dnb when I'm not wired but I want some ambient or down-tempo chill when my nerves are frying...

try some drum and bass. Search for this guy called squarepusher.

Err, squarepusher doesn't produce drum and bass, he makes what is usually pingeonholed as IDM. If you want DnB, search for artists like noisa, technical itch, twisted individual, andy c and labels like formation, ram, full cycle.

Personally I like a bit of techno (Chris Liberator, Aaron Liberator, Julian Liberator, The Geezer, D.A.V.E The Drummer, Laurie Immersion, Jeff Amadeus, Ant, Jeff Mills and labels like Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, Wah Wah, Squat Records, Undergroung resistance, R&S records to name a few), or some gabba/breakcore/hardcore techno (Hellfish, The Producer, Bong Ra, Rotator, Lenny Dee, Simon Underground, HMS on labels like Deathchant, Strike Germany, Industrial Strength, Underground records).

I could bang on for hours about other forms of music good for uppers, but I won't I'll just list genre names: ragga jungle, jungle, european hard trance, hardstyle, jumpstyle, terrorcore, doomcore, detroit techno, acid house....

I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy in that lot.

I always listen to punk when I'm on coke (The stim. I do the most.) the best CD ever for that is "Rancid V" or Rancid 2000." 22 pissed off, fast songs in just over 38 minutes. Do one rail then 20mins later another and you're set.

I take it your in/from the UK to, as i've NEVER heard an american mention the london squat/acid techno scene.!.

hum...i listen to happy hardcore alot...search for scooter...my favorite although his music is hard to come by on cd without downloading becaue its an import in the us but its worth it, imo

either that or dj tiesto

Try Time Again-The Stories Are True,
or Bad Relegion- NO Control.
or Flaw- Through These Eyes

All 3 are excelent to coke or adderall, just my preference though

I listen to techno when I take MDMA. But when I take speed it's usually to drum and bass. Drum and bass takes an awful lot of energy to dance to which speed is really good for. It also gives you the confidence you need when the people are a bit intimidating. (Think metal detectors at the doors to search for knives) On the other hand being on ecstasy in a room of wired DnBheads can be a bit daunting.

I don't go out of my way for speed but I love ecstasy so usually I'll listen to techno. Check out an artist called Vitalic.

I go for Nine Inch Nails, and other misc. psytrance/D&B on almost any stim I use. Except on meth I can't listen to music for more than a song or two before I get anxious and have to start doing something else that's more active/involved/social...

As far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of Squarepusher tracks that are dnb. Of course, he, as an artist, isn't dnb...because his style is so broad...but he has a lot of dnb tracks.

Anywho....I typically listen to hiphop on uppers. But, I mostly listen to hiphop, anyway. I don't have a specific style of music for each means of getting high.

Meth-fast paced music with plenty of changes, cant pick something now but on pills omg the possiblities are endless, hardcore, house, techno, psytrance, dnb any electronica.

Any remix's of darude-sandstorm, fuck that is the best song to lose your mind to, i dont even need drugs to get completely lost.
