DRUGGED: High on Ecstacy (Tv) Nat geo

So the people like me who dont have foxtel are there any links online where we can watch this or any torrents we can DL from? I made a thread a documentary one so if someone would know the link could you please post in my thread? Thanks heaps:)
 
All I could find is..

BBC/National Geographic documentary “Drugged: High on Ecstasy” will air in the UK TONIGHT (Thursday, January 13) at 9PM on BBC Three and in the US on MONDAY (January 17) at 9PM on the National Geographic Channel

The BBC version will be longer and more focused on the UK. The documentary features MAPS' work on MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD, and includes interviews with [Rick Doblin, PhD (MAPS Founder and Executive Director)] and Sue Stevens, an outspoken advocate after using MDMA to help treat the psychological and physiological pain her partner was going through as he unsuccessfully struggled with cancer. I am not sure if it is the same + extra or if they have changed a few things. Hopefully someone that has seen the National Geographic version could answer this. I am hoping it's the same with some extra content. Will watch it soon.
 
Heh, in the ~24 years since I've been using amphetamines, I've personally seen/heard the terms:

whizz, whizzer, go, goey, gear, meth, speed, shard/s, ice(after it used to be 'normal' for 4MAR about a decade ago?), fast. quick, RAM, DDR (yup, PC parts for meth, LOL), also have seen people call it oxbood, as well as (pink)champas, I think it was from people thinking left over iodine - phosphorous giving the red/pink look meant it was 'better', placebo rocks eh :P .

It's probably not limited to those terms but at present, 2am insomnia means my mind is half way to snooze land, I think my body shall try to join it *yawns* And nup, the insomnia isn't due to said meth, I haven't touched it for "a while", my nerve damage in 06 guarantees me "never ending" supply of oxycontin for pain, so I use that instead of recreational drugs now. Lot cheaper ;) Ok, time to try to sleep, Ibis is due to come over this morning so his son can hang out with my daughter, a future couple in the making LOL Maybe in 15 years or so ;)

The oxblood 'stuff' is usually what I mentioned, (m)amphetamine with left over products from the conversion so it by physics won't be as powerful as a proper 'full' conversion but placebo (literally) can help it make it feel more potent, countless threads about that on drug related boards over the years. Some creeps even literally put food-dye in the 'product' and call it a name like oxblood to 'suck' people into buying stuff and being told it's "stronger", probably for a more expensive price.. That's LAME but it's the product of the government driving the drug world "underground", I won't mention the cynic/(realist) view that this is because (some) governments actually benefited financially from drugs being illegal, such as known whistle blower(s) outing CIA smuggling cocaine (into USA?) back in the day.

As said, I should be physically sleeping, damn insomnia. Also heard my daughter crying from teething just before, best I DO try to sleep, she might be hearing my typing, room is near hers, I'm put out to the spare room as I was a bit ill (food poisoning?) and she's pregnant, best I stay away from the bub and her when I was feeling off.. So I apologise if my sleep dep mind has made this post somewhat hard to comprehend, my mind isn't exactly in my head atm *laugh*

There's been a few funny names for drugs over the years, literally at house parties where (50+) ppl on meth talking "This DDR is awesome" back in the day, very LOL moments indeed :P

"Rock," "gear," "chems" - for the stuff that's around now... 'whippa' here is kind of outdated and refers to powder speed, not shards, or the feeling of the old skool powder, real up-and-go, like 'wow these shards feel real nice and whippa-ry.'
 
Can any of u guys just link the torrent or the downloadable file to my existing thread that i created called drug documentaries? Cheers, makes it alot easier to navigate our way through the docus that we all luv to watch.

Does anyone know which episodes are scheduled for the future? I'd love to see information on ketamine and LSD!
 
There is a show on nat geo called drugs inc.. Which had a thing on lsd. Called "Inside LSD" or something like that. It was very interesting, it had things such as therapeutic uses and how an analogue of lsd can be used to treat extreme migraines, how it originated and hoffmans 1st trip etc. It may be on youtube or parts of it anyway.
 
^ Hey dude, I caught 'Inside LSD' and the 'Drugs Inc' series and they were seperate documentaries, 'Drugs Inc' only did episodes on cocaine, heroin and marijuana if I recall correctly.

I am pretty sure that 'Inside LSD' and 'Drugs Inc' are linked to in the drug documentary thread.

Uhm.. anyway...

Not sure if they are exactly the same. I'd still like to see the National Geographic episode.
 
Thanks everyone for the links i have made a thread specifically for documentaries, links, torrents etc etc. Please link everything in there so it is a lot easier to navigate our way through it all. Please dont post duplicates as there has been times when all of us have linked in the same docu about 5 times now LOL
