Drug withdrawels / Taking that break - Is this what it feels like?

thanks to BT and Robot Features I am officially out of rehab.
;).
(seriously) I visit bluelight because i dont think i will ever give up drugs totally. Nothing wrong with keeping informed.

sounds like depression and major withdrawls to me :S, mayb uve become so dependent on knowing ure gonna b happy and meet new ppl etc on drugs ure life without them just cant compare.......
not judging anyone but if ure feeling like u cant b botherd to put the effort in to go out without the drugs theres something very wrong about that to me.....

But, they're just pills... you eat one, you have a couple of hours of fun, it's not a big deal. Right?

there is no doubt that i have felt like that before. But ill take a bet that there a couple if not ALOT of other people out there that feel the same. If not on bluelight but also members of the general public. You've hit the nail right on the head peekingprincess . Its exactly what Dr Beat had said.

But like BT just said, they are just pills and now that im off the pills my lifestyle has adjusted and i have found other areas in which to meet people and have fun. It a change, and i think that generally speaking 99% of the population is scared of change and i think only 20% have the balls to go through with the change and keep a postive out look.

pills at the end of the day are a tool to socialise. just like other activies. If you can imagine a group of people sitting aruond with no common intersts, they wouldnt have any fun whatsoever. Other tools that we use to socialise are sports/books/travelling/painting etc.. Imagine if pills and other drugs had no damaging physcal side affects or damagng emotional effects. In thats sense it would be wonderful and probaby be encouraged to do them just as Yoga or Meditation is in society. Its a matter of perspective.
