Drug use and sexual dysfunction

Okay so my boyfriend has been smoking (weed) for about 7 years pretty heavily and in the past couple of years he has started doing LSD and shrooms and Molly.

He can (almost always) get It up and when we have sex it's super great (both sober and under the influence) and he can last a super long time but he can never finish.

He says he gets really close but he just can't seem to finish? I feel like it's something I'm doing wrong. but I mean like when we have sex it's fully hard ,and I have to stop because I can only take so much , and I give him head but it kinda goes like half soft.

Is this from chronic marijuana use ? Can it be helped ?

I have never had a problem getting a hard on on any drugs unless I'm blind drunk or on some weird shitty psych med but i do sometimes have trouble getting off. I have only had it while on too many drugs like high dose opiates, too much coke/crack, amphetamines and certain psychedelics. Getting off on shrooms or acid takes forever but it can be really fun if your both on it. E sex can be a failure if you take too much but it's not about the destination it's about the ride.

There have been times when either me or the woman i was with called it quits after marathon sex sessions cause your muscles just kinda give out and your too fuckin sore. It can be fun but not every fucking time you have sex! Maybe get him to lay off the drugs for abit and see if it helps? How old is he anyway as certain health conditions can cause this as well. If it's from Cannabis or drug use in general it will go away after awile when he stops taking the drugs that are causing it. I have been smoking Cannabis for about 20 years now minus a few breaks the longest of which was 2 years almost. For me Cannabis makes sex better no matter how stoned i am. If he is on any psychiatric drugs especialy SSRI's, SNRI's, etc those could certainly be the culprit as well. And please don't beat up on yourself. Speaking from a guys perspective here 99.9% of the time it has nothing to do with anything the woman may be doing wrong. Alot of the time it's just our fucked up brains

Its not you I've had that on certain drugs alcohol usually where you just can't cum even after hours of some random girl sucking/jerking me off I still am hard just can't cum. I assume "smoking" refers to tobacco here and not meth or crack. Tobacco and stimulant drugs cause vasoconstriction which means less blood going to the extremities and usually manifests in the subject not being able to 'get it up.'

Is he on SSRIs like Prozac or Zoloft?

(As Marauder suggested above) SSRIs/SNRIs such as Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor are notorious for sexual dysfunction problems - or any drugs that inhibit the re-uptake of certain neurotransmiters such as serotonin, norepinephrine or dopamine? Does he take anything like that would do that?

I put my own hand up for that. When taking Effexor (Venlafaxine) for ~2 years I suffered from 'retarded ejaculation' (opposite to premature ejaculation) and was like a stallion in bed which was great for her... but I struggled to ejaculate so much and it got very frustrating. Like you, she felt guilty/inadequate like she couldn't satisfy me. I can't stress enough that it's not you, please don't worry about that. Sometimes it just happens to guys, I cannot stress enough that you're not the cause of the problem!

When I withdrew from Effexor and changed to Valdoxan (Agomelatine) which works in a totally different way, I suffered from really bad premature ejaculation, which finally levelled out after ~3 months.

I don't smoke it any more but never had problems with ejaculation on weed, I've never heard of a link between weed and sexual dysfunction either.

Again, LSD/shrooms I've not tried, nor heard a connection - that said, I don't know much about them.

MDMA on the other hand can lead to sexual dysfunction (usually the failure to get an erection) but not heard much in terms of ejaculation itself.

This is a crude question and I don't mean to be explicit, but can he ejaculate when he masturbates himself? If he can, that's quite interesting.

Its not you, you're not doing anything wrong.........most guys can't finish from all the drugs they take. Sometimes its not even drugs, severe stress is just as bad.

I for one never had a problem finishing no matter what drugs or how much drugs/alcohol I have taken/drank.......all men are not created equally.

Rybee , idk if he does because I'm pretty sure he doesn't really do that? He usually doesn't even want sex or anything unless he's on MDMA or things like that.

Marauder , I don't think he's on anything like that as he's never mentioned it.

He also is very depressed a lot and that's mostly why he's never sober. We have never actually had sex sober ? Only when high or coming down. Maybe that's it but idk if I can talk him into coming of drugs completely.
