Drug testing for amphetamines

I'm guaranteed a job at this medical manufacturing facility as soon as I call them this week and I know they give you a urine test. I don't smoke weed but I do have a concerta prescription. As soon as my script runs out (usually in 3 days or so) I take whatever I can buy. Lately, I've been taking adderall and ritalin (what ever I can buy that day) everyday. And maybe a couple vyvanse a few weeks ago. My main question is will I test positive for amphetmines? If so, will my concerta script make up for it? And can they tell how much amphetamine usage is in your urine? Sorry if these are stupid questions. I just don't want to waste my time applying for this job and then failing the drug test. Thank you!
 
I know for methamphetamine it is 2-6 days.
amphetamine is even less 5 days max.
but as for a prescription, wouldn't it be fine because it is prescribed to you.

No they cant tell "how much" is in their. its just negative or positive.

It flushes out real quick, just the more you urinate the faster it comes out.
I used today and am taking a test Friday, I will be fine.
 
Okay. I just didn't know if concerta was considered an amphetamine. I just take a lot everday, maybe 100 mgs or so. How long do you think I should stop before I have to take the drug test?

Random side question- why is it that I take more adderall, the feeling doesn't get anymore intense? stimulant overload?

Concerta is a Central Nervous System stimulant. but i dont know if it would read on a drug test, if it all it would be a false positive for amphetamine.

Stop taking all those stimulants and just stay clean til after the test. Youd rather be safe than sorry. No job = No money = No drugs. so stop now and youll pass just fine.

Amphetamine has almost the same mechanism of tolerance as opiates. It involves the gated Ca++ channels in the brain. DXM will also inhibit amphetamine tolerance, but its a pretty shitty way to do it. A far better susbstance to use is magnesium. Magnesium will even reverse the tolerance you already have over time.

basically when you take your adderall it uses up all the dopamine and it needs time to replenish itself. Same thing with Meth. and MDMA.

to stop the tolerance from happening people use magnesium pills or other drugs like DXM and PCP and it replenishes that quicker.
It would be like taking magnesium pills everyday so that when you take your stimulant pill it wont build a fast tolerance.
 
I've been taking this dosage I said up above for almost a year now and I notice my tolerance level is going up with out the effects being like they used to. I even took a week off and still wasn't the same. If I take these magnesium pills while I'm off the adderall with it restore my "happy" levels. Sorry just a little confused. I'm at the point where sometimes I take it and it just makes me feel like shit but it does get me out of bed in the morning. It's ruined my relationship with my boyfriend as well because I'd rather stay home and take my adderall and get my work done. I've been wanting to stop but I just can;t bear to do everyday tasks without it. This job would change a lot for me though
 
I recommend Magnesium glycinate/lysinate. I doesn't affect the GI tract as much as magnesium citrate. Both work good though.
You just take them and they help you absorb more of the medication.
You need to be taking them everyday, if you are using Adderall everyday, hour or more before.
For therapeutic use, most probably, as there's some correlation between ADHD symptoms and low levels of magnesium.
Though magnesium levels are low for most people, if supplementation has a beneficial effect on your focus, you'll find your medication has more effect.
 
When i was drug tested (about every two weeks for a drug prevention group i was placed in) it tested for just about everything and DID show the levels of each drug class. they measured in nanograms per mL or something. mine was always maxed out for amphetamines (1000 ng/mL was the cut off) because im prescribed Adderall for daily use. Just let the employer know you are on a stimulant that will show up as amphetamines and you should get past that part of the urine screening
 
As for the Ritilan and Concerta they have the same exact active ingredient (Methylphenidate) concerta is just an XR version of rittilan, so taking ritilan is the same thing as taking concerta so you should not have a problem with that since you are prescribed to concerta, but neither will show up on a standard 5 panel or 10 panel test. Adderall and vyvanse will show up on both as stimulants.

LOL. That made me laugh.

To the original question, Concerta and Ritalin are Methylphenidate so they shouldn't show up as an amphetamines. The Vyvanse and Adderall will. Amphetamines show up for 3-5 days after taking them, exact duration dependent upon variables. However you said that you have a script for Concerta so you shouldn't worry if it shows up for a false positive. I don't it would though.
 
But I would recommend not taking Addy or vyvanse until after your test!
