Drug Test - Negative Line Question

Do some negative lines take longer to appear than others? I took a home test and the neg line for cocaine took longer (but did appear) and I have a test today. I'm concerned the lab may pick it up (they always send to a lab).

So my question is, do negatives for certain drugs take longer to process or is it taking longer because of traces of it in my system?
