Drug Test Clarification

So I have a small question, and I hope that it wouldn't be too much of a bother to get it answered. I was fired from work on Friday (unrelated to drugs), so I decided to call up my best friend and smoke it up with him, since I no longer had to worry about keeping clean. Now, onto my question, I really need to get a job asap and I have read the information provided on drug tests. I am overweight, and I am not a regular smoker. I have smoked 5 times in my life, usually when I was really stressed and needed to unwind. Last time I smoked before Friday was in December. Is it true that it would only take a few days for everything to clear out of my system? Because honestly, I thought it stayed put longer than that, although that may have been anti-drug propaganda. If you've smoked 5 times in your entire life, yea... it will only stay in your system for a few days. You can get an at home urine analysis kit from any drug store, just hope they don't test your hair.
