Drug Superstitions?

Some of the best ones probably come from the addled brains of tweakers. I remember when we used to do 100+-hour runs on a regular basis, everyone had to sit in the same place all the time and our cigarette smoking had to be synchronized, etc, etc.

Yeah yellow lighters are forbidden here. Also, we never bought a blunt/papers before we got the sack, everytime we did we never scored.

YESS! I forgot about that one. but yellow is OK here its white that I refuse. I wont have it in the car with me, i wont have it around me. I also refuse to buy my blunt before i get the bag like you otherwise youre just speakin too soon.

Yall know about "foreshadowing" in a book. like "When she left, she forgot to lock the door." and then later in the book they get robbed, and them telling you that she didnt lock the door was like a clue that somethin bad would happen.

Well i wont say nothing that could be seen as that, becuz I feel like life is a maze in front of you that you are figurin out as you go, but you cant see too far ahead cuz there is blocks and walls in the way. You dont know what will be revealed in time once those walls move out of the way and it could be somethin totally different, so sayin shit like "Im gettin that today" "When i get that i will repay you with one bag/pill/whatever" and etc is kinda like bad foreshadowing to me.

If the drug has gone through the hands of a known unpleasant person, I'll refuse it.
 
^ the energies of people who handle drugs no doubt affect the drug experience & I have no doubts about it. I think that's part of why people get so paro' when dealing w/coke and meth, which are usually dealt with by paranoid, twacked out & violent individuals, and why LSD acquired from cool heads for free is always a better trip than even the best LSD bought commercially from a dealer who doesn't really give a fuck and just sees it as basically another kind of beer or pot.

I don't doubt it either though it cannot be proven objectively.
An even more outrageous claim: the phenomenon can be used consciously by those who are able to modulate their energies.
Magic? I guess that's a as good a description as any. :)

As far as LSD goes, I don't doubt it. I've heard people talk about LSD crystal having an energy in itself ... and there is the theory about Albert Hoffman's "spontaneous mystical experience", on Bicycle Day ... so who is not to say that it can go the other way too, from those dealing w/LSD to the LSD itself?

its a good superstition. that way, any mold or fungus or w.e it might have picked up has time to grow, ruining your chance to get high
 
i always buy pink lighters.they dont tend to get stolen as much and people know that the pinkies are mine.

first shot of the night is always a jager bomb. dont know why?

always shout my dealer a session after a purchase (good for relations).

Don't worry I don't have a hat. I have a few caps, and several helmets, but no hats.

Indeed.

Also every time I shoot up a bag, after I finish the shoot I won't take out the needle just yet, I will draw up a few units of blood and then inject the blood. I do this three times. I do it for good luck and to honor three people I know who have overdosed.

I got a lot of weird drug related superstitions and rituals.
 
^^^ but its strangely necessary :P

yeah i know people who have the white lighter /lucky smoke thing.i think my main thing is with taking acid, because its just gotta be the 'right' day for it, the energies have got to feel just right for tripping and all that acid-head mumbo-jumbo..
 
^ without a doubt, +1. The only negative (or maybe better called "unpleasant") psychedelic experience I've ever had, I felt the bad vibes for weeks before and just denied 'em. taught me a lesson good.
