Drug Superstitions?

I know we talked a lil bit about this ish in the "rules for a run" thread, but i was wonderin if anyone had anything to say specifically about bein superstitious about drugs. I know that I got certain things I be paranoid about....I hate to talk about a deal before it goes thru and make it sound like it will otherwise i feel like ima Jinx it. For example "Yea, i am/should be gettin some 40s tonight" before you even got them or get that call back that its definate. "Ah i cant wait to get home and do a bag" well how do you know for sure you will be doin that until its in your hand? or "well i dont know for sure that its good, but leave now so youll be here in case it is." That almost never works out.

I will also NEVER call and say "Yea I got that and Ima be home in......." Becuz you never know if you will be home in that time or not. I dont mean like gettin delayed. I mean havin that sense that nothing will happen is a bad look. Youre almost there and a cop pulls out behind you with a sniffer dog. Youre almost there and you get hit by somebody drunk and speeding, or whatever, you feel me?

I know I be crazy, but i was curious if anybody has any lil things like this they live by, or knows anyone like this, or even if you think its a buncha shit and only a crazy fool would believe in such things. Let us all know, shit...
 
If I drop a bag of dope I wont do it that day. I'll either do another one in my position or switch with one of my friends.

Same thing.

The deal isn't done until your safely back home, or at whatever end destination, with product securely in place.

Sucks when you've pumped yourself up about getting high then it falls through. Just one of those times where you're left sitting there pissed off thinking WTF; pretty empty feeling actually.


Back when I smoked weed (instead of vaporizing) I used to know a few people who wouldn't smoke with a white lighter. Never really understood the superstition myself. I mean if white was the only color it's not like I wasn't going to get high because of it.
 
I am not superstitious but I did some things just for fun and the white lighter is one that sticks out in my mind. I also know people that smoked cigarettes that would turn one in the pack upside down and smoke that one last. It would be their "lucky cigarette".
 
I try not to talk about deals... but I always do, although I won't buy anything but a dark blue lighter every other kind I loose or when in my possesion something awful happens. So I just avoid other colors, go to a dfferent place if they dont have solid blue bic lighters.

Superstition maybe???


I'm naturally superstitious and obsessive-compulsive as it is, and that carries over to drugs for sure. I don't even want to get started in listing the wacky shit I do.
I think its just an extension of who you are as a person - if you're superstitious in life, of course you'll be superstitious when it comes to using drugs. Not only because its a natural consequence of your personality, but also because drugs tend to evoke that type of thinking - worry, paranoia, etc.

Fate did not want me to use that bag at the time so it would not be in my best interest not to tamper with fates plan.

Almost every person I know in France does that. For some odd reason, it really annoys me. :|

No, fate just wanted you to drop the bag. If fate didn't want you to use the bag, you'd misplace it.
 
Alot of people around here don't carry yellow lighters.
personally though i don't care.

I don't really have superstitions, but i always put the stuff in my trunk and not in my pocket when im driving.

Heh, people here think that white lighters are bad luck and refuse to smoke with them.

I've seen people do the "lucky cigarette" thing with their last smoke too.
 
I never use my last until I pick up again, because that is a sure way to get the deal to go bad and leave me without for at least 24 hours.
 
Since I still live with my parents for the past month or two when I have been smoking daily it is all very ritualistic and almost planned out in a way as to be extra careful not to be caught. I have different superstition-like things I always do before or after I smoke, like always wash my hands and spit into the sink, and then get a glass of water, then go back to my room and watch TV, then within a half hour or so come back to the kitchen and get sometihng to eat, etc.
 
I dont drive on bars bad shit always happens even if I dont remember it being my fault

Yeah yellow lighters are forbidden here. Also, we never bought a blunt/papers before we got the sack, everytime we did we never scored.

I know people that do the cigarette thing, however, they called it a "wish cigarette", because they'd make a wish when they go to smoke it..

hah.

drug superstitions... the only superstition i believe in is bad things will happen unless all teh acid is consumed
