Drug Slang! [MegaThread]

"Boy" is the #1 slang term for heroin in the Detroit area. Everyone calls heroin "boy" here.

"Girl" is the #1 slang term for cocaine/crack in the Detroit area.

It's just always been that way.
 
Virtually all drugs are known as dope. Heroin is called dope, as is cocaine/crack, meth, weed, prescription opioids, and amphetamines. I've heard all those be referred to as "dope".
 
^ It's true, and I've definitely seen and heard of other drugs being referred to as "dope" before, but, around here, "dope" is heroin and that's that.

If you go to your pot guy and say, "yeah let me get a bag of dope," he'll have to think about it for a second and may need to ask you what it is, exactly, you're asking him for.

If you go to buy a bag of crack and ask for a bag of dope, he too will think heroin, and that's just how it goes here on the east coast at least.
 
Another one that I find interesting is how people will call methadone 'meth' in some places, which can be a bit confusing. Around here there really isn't any methamphetamine, so some people will call methadone meth (also funny how it's either called meth or done) but that still pisses me off. I was with my friend that lived in Seattle for a little while where there is a lot of meth, so when someone called him saying they had meth he was confused to say the least, until I mentioned that they were probably referring to methadone, which was confirmed when he asked them to clarify.
 
what do people call heroin and oxys in florida

just moved from seattle to the *snip* area and desperately been looking for something to keep me well since i ran out of my percs. so i ride my bike down to an area very obvious to be a good area to find something but when i ask people for some black nobody seems to know what im talking about and when i ask for heroin people obviously get sketched out and i really dont like going around asking random people for heroin. lol maybe im just asking the wrong people....or it doesnt exist here...so i try for perc 30's and they try to sell me crack wtf. things are alot different down here so im assuming people call these things different names down here too...i keep hearing this area is flooded with 30's but i just dont know what to ask for....

I hearbspanish people tjere called it chivaa, pronouncdd chiba i think (chee-bah).. its Spanish for some animal that correlates to heroin an ox or mule or something... then theres i think the parrot and coyote which are weed and coke i forget those terms. Heroin is chiva tho
 
I'm from Seminole, and Oxys are absolutely huge. Definitely number two next to pot. I've only ever known one person that was into horse and that was quite a while ago, you might have trouble in that department.

Everyone calls Oxy 'blues'.
 
Going around asking random people who sells drugs usually never gets you anywhere except with maybe weed. Most people know where to get oxy, they're just paranoid you're an undercover cop.

yeah it might not be such a bad thing not to find the h...i just hate spending so much money...i met someone who called them blues so that makes sense. i got a fake "blue" already so im kinda pissed but im bound to find something if i keep looking

This is getting pretty close to sourcing (asking how to get drugs). Bluelight does not allow discussion of sourcing or sourcing of any kind.

I'm going to move this over to Drug Culture since its asking about drug slang - but it may get closed or merged, however.

Also, for the record, there is no such thing as a "Perc 30" or a "Percocet 30".

sorry not trying to source and i know there isn't a Percocet 30...thats just what they are called where I am from. I know everywhere things are named different things just wondering what the names were in Florida verses where I am from

Around here the Spanish call heroin "manteca"


I would think calling the "Perc" 30's either "30's" or "blues" would be a pretty universal term.
 
I've heard heroin called Chiva in california, but nowhere else. Universally, "smack", "dope", and "skag"

I've never heard any other slang for Oxys besides "oxys" or maybe "OCs" or some play on the brand name
