2018 Slang Terms and Code Words
This Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Intelligence Report contains new and updated information on slang terms and code words from a variety of law enforcement and open sources, and serves as an updated version to the product entitled āDrug Slang Code Wordsā published by the DEA in May 2017...tinyurl.com
According to one or two of our little community here it's outdated (and I've not had the time to update and release a new version as promised on another thread)!
Until then: enjoy (all 124 pages)!
Stop reading those old books!![]()
Like I said on another thread , Iām interested in history of drugs , drug use , drug addiction , drugs in medicine , pharmacology , drug policy , drugs in societies, drug culture , drugs in the animal kingdom etc.
History repeats itself and I think the history itās key to understanding current drug policy and where itāll go from here .
In the 1920s alcohol was the demon drug. In the 30s itās cannabis, in the 80s most people have experience with cannabis so they flip it to crack , in early 2000s itās meth, recently itās the opioid drugs, tomorrow itāll be some other drug people want to scapegoat for complex issues. And so it will continue until people learn drugs are the symptom , not the problem .
Anyway. Junky by William Burroughs is a damn fine book . I donāt think itās considered a classic of literature (it should be ), I mainly like the classics
Brave new world, 1984, moby dick, Balzac, the plays of Moliere
