drug safety in school not lies!!

I remember back in 5th grade the DARE officer talking about how LSD would make you see pink elephants.

That's the day I decided I needed to find some LSD... :\

hahahaha exactly. half the shit they tell you about wouldnt even come across your mind in 5th grade if they didnt tell you. like inhaling? i would have NEVER though of that until i heard about it. if you tell a kid about something, and then tell them to not do something as simple as huffing..dont you think they will try it.

but they lie because they think that its better to try and prevent and ignore the problem all together rather then try and help and inform. then blame the kid for falling into drugs and oding instead of taking responsibility for the system failing them. i agree with the gateway theory. kid smokes weed, nothing bad happens, kid tries heroin or equivalent, nothing bad happens, kid gets addicted and then its to late..

im so surprised by how many people dont know SHIT about drugs. like i watched my friend shoot up once and he just like stuck out his arm, stabbed the needle in randomly, and dug around for like 5 minutes. then repeated until he got it in. it was soooo fucked up. it took my bf like 5 seconds to find his vein calmly and accurately with no problems. but you dont have to necessarily show kids how to shoot up...that was just an example of how someone has been doing drugs for so long and still didnt know shit, just inform them so they know the TRUE dangers and can make an educated and informed decision.

The solution here is to privatize schools and legalize drugs, but I doubt I'll see either happen in my lifetime.

If we privatized schools, then the ones who are most at risk for drug abuse, would be the exact same kids who wouldn't be able to afford to receive the education.

Combine that with drug legalization, and you might as well start writing up the death certificates now.

I don't oppose drug legalization under the auspices of a rich, progressive and socially-aware society -- but to legalize drugs, completely unregulated and at the expense of the uneducated? That's just an awful idea.
