Suppose I should keep an eye out for a night that quite a few of us would fancy. Cuold have a pre and post dam one lol.

I'm also trying to kick my processed sugar habit now, definitely the only thing I'm properly addicted to, get terrible cravigns after dinner!
 
Had no Alcohol since Sunday night. This is the longest I have gone without in recent times. Wanted to kill last night, for want of booze:X
 
Natural sugars from fruit just won't satiate it!
Trying to get back onto healthy eating as the past few months have involved much binge eating thanks to the munchies. It's really a wonder I'm not a whale.

Taper yourself with something not quite as potent, like Demerera sugar or honey (I don't think you get partial antagonist sugars!) =D =D
 
Haha well i bought a packet of fruit pastels and am having a couple after dinner as opposed pudding and/or chocolate and sweets so it's a start.

A while back now I did stop all things for 3 years...(got myself addicted to healthy living instead like an evangelical looney) been back on the "controlled" 8) use of substance for 17 months now - with variable results. I slip....

I'm developing quite the little booze thing ... just seem to replace one thing with another :(

When I can't smoke cigs I want to eat chocolate... processed sugars should have a Harm Reduction forum all to themselves :!

I'm going to find this weekend really difficult... if I don't get my hands on something to get me fucked, and I'm at the stage it disnae matter what, I'm liable to get drunk, drunk, drunk..

Really tempted to do some ket but I have my final coursework essay for the year to be doing and I really shouldn't..... :! :o :\

Stopped smoking weed, mostly no cigarettes, drinking less booze and not drinking much black tea, so i'm pretty chuffed with myself generally, despite the previous weekend's shenanigans.

Hmmm, maybe some 'PV is in order so I can "work" (on my porn collection!) :D
 
I am STILL sober, fuck its getting up to 4 solid months without so much as caffeine. Drugs seem like a distant memory now! I'm showing signs of improvement lately though so hopefully in a few weeks I can have a glorious zero tolerance smoke session. I miss weed so much, can't stop dreaming about it.
 
Thanks B9, its been a learning experience this old sobriety lark, but I can't take all the credit for it!

The reason I gave up everything was not of my own accord, but because I developed a rather harsh long term illness in January that is still going pretty strong - M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome- which rendered me unable to tolerate anything. This week I've felt like I've had a bit of energy for the first time in months, so I'm hoping this means I'm on my way to recovery and will be able to partake in some fuckedness again in the not too distant future.

I was hammering everything way too much (specially weed dear god) so I'm glad to have had this forced break. Should hopefully be able to practise some moderation when I return to the fold.
 
I thought ME was incurable?
Anyone I've met with it has it for life:(
They can have the occasional drink or spliff and thats it:|
 
No its not incurable at all, most younger people make a full recovery and my condition although quite severe at times is certainly not the worst it can get.

If I have one pint of beer I will feel very ill and on the point of collapse, same with a toke or two on a spliff. I previously had a rediculous tolerance to weed and I found myself becoming less and less tolerant to it all of a sudden, to the point where I just had to give it up.

That sounds ridiculously similar to me.
I have mouse size smokes these days and get absolutely fudged. :\

Looking at the symptoms of ME now, and a lot of those symptoms seem to tie in with what I feel like with anxiety. I've gotten over the reasons why I was anxious, and really shouldn't have anxiety, any more, but I have a lot of those symptoms - even when I'm on a break from taking drugs. I guess no one will ever diagnose me properly, as the NHS have barely managed to diagnose me with anxiety.

Same on the weed front. A few tokes - fucked.
