Drug of the 2000s?

The drug of the 2000's hands down is Mephedrone(4-mmc). Pharms are huge but they are just plain old opiates/opioids/benzo's/amp's in different forms/pills...nothing new. Mephedrone has created a new sub-genre of entactogens that create amazing euphoria but do not burn you out or create false love like MDMA/MDA. I would say number 2 is methylone(bk-mdma) as it was huge for awhile but just doesn't last long enough. Drug of 2010 and beyond......who knows but so far 6-APB is a good choice.

Mephedrone is so popular in the USA that an episode of the cop drama "Blue Bloods" featured it in an episode 2 weeks ago......you know how we are here in the states, once it makes primetime TV it can be called huge.

Again that doesn't make your argument invalid and can even enforces it, but those statistics are probably more based on honest responses aren't they? I thought that some other statistic said that 93% have tried it, but the location varies.

everyones saying pharms but in my area the most widely used drug other then pot alcohol and nicotine would probably have to be ecstacy
 
From what I've seen JWH is pretty fucing popular. Every time I go to my local smokeshop there are 3-4 people waiting in line to get JWH. Its not the next big thing but I'm thinking some sort of RC is going to blow up in the next few years.

I think pharmaceutical/opiates/meth were 2001-2010 not counting cannabis. And I'd guess a yet to be popular RC or group of RCs will be big for the next 10 years...unless cannabis is legalized.

I think RC's are here to stay. And maybe a resurgence of LSD, doses seem to be easier to get now than ever in my life.
 
Yeah what about ecstasy? I mean before it use to be all about weed, and pharms. and now I also see that practically everyone I know, or their friends, and so on, have tried at least one roll. If people are going to try drugs it would be pot first, then move on to ecstasy (in my experience with the people I know). Its even been the case where they've tried E first before pot or anything else because of the hype. Idk maybe I'm wrong but I feel like it's made its big comeback for the new millenium. Its all about electronic music and bomb pills for us south easterns :P
 
rc's are not prevalent around america. neither is mephedrone (sp?). just cause a small amount of druggies around the country have tried it doesn't suddenly make it the drug of the decade. how long has mephedrone been around? i only heard of it like 1-2 years ago and have never heard anyone around me mention it

I dunno this sounds a bit.....off. Here in the UK at least most
illeagal drugs are much more widley used and easily obtainable than pharmaceuticals, possibly because we have a lot strickter prescribing habbits. I've had a serious anxiety disorder from PTSD and couldn't get a single benzo to help manage that because I have a history of drug use.
Also I think that the more popular pharmaceuticals get on the black market the more they will put restraints on giving them out, so when people are really in serious need of these meds (unless they are in agony or unable to breath from a panick attack in front of them) they will be so much harder to obtain because they will always be suspisious.
 
Next Hit Drug?

So I've been thinking, have we made/found all the drugs possible to create all the different types of body highs, visuals, change in perception, etc? I feel like all we have now are stuff that resembles, in a way, other drugs. Like you hear 2c drugs are similar to ecstasy, lsd, and amphetamines as well as 5-methyl-mda, mephedrone, and so on. Do any of you guys think there will be a completely new designer drug (or maybe a natural substance of some sort?) that'll hit the streets dramatically for its "out of this world" effects? If so, what do you think the effects would be, and the name of the drug for it? I'd like to see everyone's imagination soar on this thread :D
 
who knows to be honest this sounds more like a topic thatll give my high life ass a boner thinking of all the possibilites.

what id like to see is acid coke. what i mean is a coke high (all the blissfull confident arrogance) but with the insane lsd visuals and the analytical thought process but no paranoia or sketchy shit that comes with mixing uppers and psychs. ime psychs and uppers dont typically mix well.

what im saying is the psychedelllic experience and coke are different drugs fighting with eachother when you do them together. id love the visuals plus an incredibly pleasureable hedonistic experience. (ya ya i know you can do mdma and acid but i want the coke high plus acid not something empathogenic
 
^Not bad. I actually see that being a really interesting drug. God-like almost. Like you feel omnipotent and extremely confident and euphoric while you walk to Earth, having intense visuals and having the acid part open your mind philosophically and universally. That'd be fucking BOMB!
