I was curious if anyone kept a drug journal or wrote on your hand how many pills, etc. you have ingested? (i.e. v 10 mg = IIII)
i know this is incriminating evidence but, does anyone document their daily ingestion and write an entry or just free flow thoughts? i did this last year and looking back i can't believe some of the cocktails I consumed. Please share thoughts on this.

thanx,

m

p.s. my x bf told me it's a good idea to write down how many tranquilzers you have ingested in case of an overdose. so, after that, i started to do it.

On www.qlogger.com you can set up an electronic log of your Cannabis use and make piecharts and stuff like that.

You can even look at your past descriptions of particular drugs to see what works for you while you're actually stoned, like if you give more favorable reviews for being stoned off Superskunk than Whitewidow or whatever.

I tried it but gave up after two days, I could never be bothered to fill it in once I was high ;)

I don't know anyone who have such a documented "drug-diary", but a lot of people (including me) write their thoughts down when there on a trip.
Quite fun to read afterwards, and hard to believe that you were so fucked up at that moment.

If I take a combo of questionable judgement (snorting antidepressants with coke), I always put a little card in my wallet behind my driver's license listing my medications, what illicit things I've had (usually down to the miligram), and that I am not allergic to anything, have no heart condition, and have no history of seizures. I've never had to have anyone read the list because I research my dosage and combinations!

If I'm in my own apartment, my roommate will know what I took, cuz he prolly split it with me. :)

I can remember every single time I've gotten high, so I have no need to keep a journal. :)

Exactly, I have a notebook that I write in if I feel like it. One night I wrote 40-something pages, it was weird but I had a different perspective than normally & I think it helped me figure a lot of things out.

It's always a good idea to have a pen and paper around when drugging. It's nice to be able to jot down thoughts you're having, especially while on a psychedelic. I had one trip that centered around the act of writing and what it means to me. It was very interesting and productive and I still have the paper to read to retrace my thoughts.

I quickly learned that drug journals can get you into a shit load of trouble. I used to write down everything I did and tried in my drug journal everything from weed to heroin...and one day when I was away at school my mom decided to be nice and clean my room and she stumbled across it....

Surprisingly since my mom is such an alcoholic she only yelled at me for a little bit and then forgot she ever saw it...gotta love alcoholics when they black out and dont remember things happening...actually its really sad my mom is a good person and just recently got out of rehab...

Just a bit of advice to those out there with journals....keep a pad lock on them!!!

I've kept a detailed and extensive 'drug diary' since 1998, its quiet interesting to look back and remember particular events, developing addictions etc. I dont know the reason why i begun or why I continue. When i started i was living at home so make sure you keep it well hidden, many, many parental disputes.
