Firstly, I just want to start off by saying well done for coming to this forum. You can get some awesome help and information here, BUT on the other hand, you will also read up on horror stories too, don't pay any attention to those, really!

A little over a month ago (this is sorta irrelevant and you will find out why shortly) I did MDMA for the first time. I had NO idea what it was or what it did for that matter but because I'd just finished my first year university exams I was up for anything. I'd never done any other drugs before other than weed about three times at festivals and alcohol. I used to drink every two weeks to a month and basically binged, like any other student does.

Anyway, I took a bomb of MDMA and didn't feel anything. My 'trustworthy' friend then assured me a small line of MDMA would do the trick. Well, it certainly did do something- a full blown panic attack. I had no idea what was happening, I just felt EXTREMELY scared and anxious. The paranoia I was feeling was unbelievable, I thought my friends around me were against me, or just weren't safe to be around. This panic attack stopped after maybe 10 seconds, and I felt fine. In fact, I carried on to have an AMAZING night, the best I've ever had for that matter.

Check my older posts to see what I was feeling, I really can't be bothered writing them out again but you'll see that I had quite the shitstorm of anxiety to deal with ^^

Now here's the thing, your anxiety/depression/depersonalisation is caused by a CHEMICAL IMBALANCE. Do you even know what this means?! This means it is fucking T-E-M-P-O-R-A-R-Y!!!!!! :D

My anxiety faded into mild depression with the odd spell of depersonalisation.

How to beat anxiety:
-Eat good nutricious foods
-Eat carby meals spaced out throughout the day. CARBS BEFORE BED IS GOOD!
-Protein shakes are an excellent way to start and end your day, really.
-Avoid sugary foods
-Absolutely NO caffeine <- this is a must
-No drugs, even drinking (yes i know caffeine is a drug)
-Exercise. Whether that be cycling or bodybuilding. DO IT.
-Get distracted. Videogames are awesome for this. Download league of legends or something which takes your mind off things.
-Don't listen to the horror stories on here. "I did ecstasy and now I have anxiety forever". NO, THIS IS BULLSHIT.

How do I know if my anxiety/depression/depersonalisation is getting better?
If you find your problem fluctuations and gets better now and again then you're on the way to recovery, trust me :)

I hope this helps. Sorry it is not well written but today is the first time in well since I did MDMA where I feel completely normal, I'm kinda excited.
