drug identification (not pills!)

I have a friend who was going to order some "tert-Butanol" from a website. He was sure that it was gbl, but I advised him best to ask before spending his well earned cash. Is the chemical gbl? I looked through erowid's gbl information and never found it under "tert-Butanol.

i believe it is a gbl-like chemical, but not gbl.

Do NOT drink tert-butanol. It has nothing in common with GBL, GHB or 1,4-butanediol.
