Drug Identification Help Required

Well, after much searching, we were provided with what was purported to be Mescaline.
Problem is, it didn't really look right.
White/grey powder, extremely even, and very fine. No chemical or organic scent or taste. Like very fine chalk.
Guinea pigs partook, while I did not. Two hours later, they took some more. No effect - called the source to complain. After four hours - WHAM. They were in a different place entirely. One quote: "Good God. This is everything I've ever looked for in a drug."
Any suggestions as to what this was? Could it actually have been Mescaline?
 
Wasn't mescaline.
Can you give more details about the effects of the drug? Like duration, nausea, visuals, etc?
Probably 2-CT-7 or 2CB or maybe even AMT.

Can't be 2C-T-7, as they ingested over a gram in total. Ditto for 2C-B, AMT, and most other research chemicals.
Duration - lasted about 7 hours. No real nausea. As for visuals, as I didn't take it I'm not sure. Perhaps I can convince the tripper to post.
 
The powder could have been cut, no? That's why color/amount doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Consistency does, however. Synthetic mescaline, aside from the statistical rarity of it, is not chalky or powdery.
If there was no nausea or body load, that might rule out most of the research chems, but everyone reacts differently.
Try to get more details...but like I say in most of this mystery drug posts, who really knows for sure except for the primary source of the substance.

actually, pure mescaline is effective at around 400 mg. but still, it was most likely not mescaline, we should be so lucky.
