Hey guy, long time reader, first time poster. What prompted me to join the forums was a question I have.

Do you guys know of any books that list a lot of illicits drugs and how they can be used productively? Eg MDMA for relationships, Adderall for getting stuff done, LSD for creative problem solving and spiritual insight Ect.

I'm really starting to use drugs like tools for various things, basically all under the creative category. I'd like to know if there's any books out there along these lines. Such a thing would be very helpful.

Information on these topics is generally going to be segregated by substance/class of chemical. Regarding psychedelics, a lot of this research is either very old or quite new, and certainly not definitive.

Here's a good place to start, it touches on psychedelics used for creativity studies: http://www.psychedelicexplorersguide.com/

Ecstsy: The Complete Guide, by Julie Holland, is a little dated but has a lot of good historical and medical/therapeutic information: http://books.google.com/books/about/Ecstasy_The_Complete_Guide.html?id=CUCcyklcO00C

Erowid isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's probably the best basic clearing house for such research into the theraputic use of drugs you're interested in, other than MAPS of course. Erowid has some links to some good research on Ibogaine, Ketamine and other NDMA antagonists, MDMA, LSD, Ampetamines, Cannabis, Opioids/Opiates (i.e. Methadone), etc. Just requires some work to find the good stuff on there.

Another forum on BL might be better for your thread though. Good idea for my next book project though ;)
