Sorry if this is in the wrong section, want exactly sure if there was a better section to put his.

But anyways, I'm a senior in highschool and my school went into lockdown for a drug search an hour ago. I immediately panicced because I realized I left an empty pain pill bottle and two baggies with small amounts of oxycodone in them in my backpack, which I left in my locker. They announced it as a drill so I figured there wouldn't be a drug search. I realized they were lying after a few minutes when I saw some drug dogs.

I was sitting in a dark room for 45 minutes freaking out, wasn't sure if they could smell oxycodone, hydrocodone, and codeine, all of which I had small amounts of in baggies in my backpack. The whole time, the teacher was freaking me out talking to some girls about how drug dogs can smell everything and said they already has busted 5 kids after 20 minutes. Probably wasn't true but at the time it was enough to make ne panic even more.

They ended up not finding it, and I really don't think they can sniff out crushed pills, but I was freaking out pretty hard worrying and killing myself with my own thoughts for 45 minutes.

Hello - I don't see a question here, and it's just telling a tale. While it sounds awful and you're very lucky you got away with it this is more suited to a blog journal. As such I'm going to close this thread. If you're in need of support or feeling down/anxious and would like to talk to someone, either fling me a PM or make a post in the dark side. All the best.

Also - sniffer dogs can't seek out pills that are pharmaceutical products. That would be an outrage and is just unethical to start with, as many are on medication and should be forced to disclose what they're taking because of a "drug bust" at school.
