Drug Combo; Methylphenidate + Maeng Da (Kratom)

My friend wants to try 10-15 mg of MPH (Methylphenidate IR) and 1gram +/- of Maeng Da.

Is this a "safe" combo for him to try out ?

He has tried both substances on there own in the past.

Anything he needs to look out for ? (prep for ?).

As far as I am aware there is no danger in combining them - the pharmacology of kratom is poorly understood however. Thinking of it's opioid properties, there is no inherent danger. The problem with mixing an upper and a downer comes when one masks the effects of the other, leading to an overdose situation when it wears off - usually due to too much downer and a short lasting upper. If your friend uses no more than his standard doses then he should be okay. He could lower the doses a little though seeing as he's not tried the combination in the past.

Kratom is a mediumish strenth opiate, and methylphenidate is a mediumish strength stimulant, so the danger should be minimal compared to, say, cocaine and heroin.

Sounds like it might be fun. Just steady on the doses.
