driving under the influence

I dont drive unless im forced to.
I had to drive when hotel parties were raided by cops.
I cant drive on acid, every thing is flashing, i get paranoid.
Rolling, i drive better rolling, lol.
One night we all went to this keg party.
Me and 2 guy friends and 3 girl friends. Well my 2 guy friends had to drive these 2 girls home an hour and a half away because they were whining. So i was at the party, i already poped a pill, and me and this girl who was left with me ate a few xanex and drank all night thinking we were getting the hotel across the street. Well, she started flipping out and said she needed to be home, i didnt wanna say no but i didnt wanna scare her any more. Well, her house was 30 minutes away and i thought what the hell. So its 3am and im going down the beach, im actully driving pretty good, pulled over, threw up..kept going..then over a bridge this cop was sitting there, i wasnt speeding but my old car was a 2000 yellow toyota mr2 spyder (my uncle is rich and bought it for me) so the tag reg. said mr2 spyder but i had a black civic because i gave that mr2 back. So the cop speeds ahead of me..looks at me..im chilling to some bass...then he gets behind me and pulls me over..im like "sh*T!" ..well..my car is less then 2 inches off the ground and i nailed my bumper hardcore going up into this store to park. Well, my interior is all torn out to redo it and i lost my licence and the cop asked for that and reg. and i gave him the reg. and i told him i lost my licnce in my messy car and hes like "ok, fu*k it i only need this any ways" and he looks at it..and the tag...and it clears..im sitting there..about to pass out...my breath smelled like a drunk bums..and my eyes where huge, plus i was pinching the girl next to me to stay away...well he BS's to me about my car being low and he told me to go and on the way home i didnt hit a thing, but when she got out of the car she fell on one of thoese green power boxes and sprained her wrist...so i there fine and stayed there.
But every weekend when we roll i have to pick up a friend at work like 20 mins away and i roll driving there all the time, put on some Red Man and mob to the resturant.
but dont drive screwed up, most people cant drive while sober any ways, but rolling and driving is fun, i use to roll and ride my YZFR1 up and down the beach helment off...its so lovly out there...the feeling of the wind hitting you at 40mph (90-100 on dark roads, lights off, damn cops, lol) is a rush...

Well most all of last school year the only place i smoked with my friends was in my car. We'd find a dead end road with no lights, roll a fatty or pack the bong, roll down the windows and spark up. After these nights I'd usually be stoned off my ass while driving and I must say I can drive good while stoned. I can't when drunk, but stoned yes. I've driven stoned so many times I can't remember and never had a problem. Only problem I've encountered while driving while stoned is you'll be driving on a road and all the sudden realize: "how the hell did I get here". Don't confuse that as "you don't know where you are" cuase its different. Its like you know where you are, but you don't know HOW you got there. Other than that nothing else is affected by driving, and even THAT is a minor thing. But hey that's just me.

The only real drug problem is scorin real good drugs -- aim: Diskchucker

If fucking australians hate americans that much, they need to stay the fuck out of anything but AUS Social--social in any form sucks--and quit bitching that their dad got killed by people who were high. They weren't high, they were asleep. If someone smoked weed three weeks ago and gets in a car crash, their piss test will be positive, but were they high--NO! Law fearing citizens while fucked up really concentrate on not getting in accidents, speeding, etc. Tired people fall asleep. So, yes, if you are fucking tired and you have to drive--snort some Meth. Or move to Australia, they're perfect there.

Alright, for all you Australians flipping out over there, let me set a few things straight.
1. I never said or even suggested that driving under the influence was something that should be done.
2. Driving on drugs is a stupid thing to do, but face it, people are stupid. People are going to do it, no matter how dangerous it is. You have to look at this issue realistically. Pretty much everyone is going to drive under the influence some time in their life, be it acid or alcohol.
3. For those who are going to dismiss common sense and drive tripping/drunk etc, then they should at least know how the substance is effecting them, and be familiar with how to deal with it.
4. I hear there's an unusual amount of homosexuals in Australia. Some experts attribute this to your ugly women. Would any of you Aussies care to comment on this?

ENOUGH with this god damn "Aussies are better then yanks, we have respect and don't drive fucked up" .. I damn near just deleted this entire thread thanks to the mass amounts of OFF TOPIC CRAP! This is NOT A SOCIAL FORUM, either share something related or get out, we don't care that you think we are "fuckwads" or lacking respect...
If your reply was deleted, do NOT reply, just live with it...
Oh yeah, to the attractive Aussie ladies and their sexy accents - MY DIGERIDOO IS AS BIG AS THE NEVA-NEVA, so if you wanan come ova we can have a Fosters and throw another shrimp on the barbie.. I will protect ya and yer baby from the dangers of wild Dingos!
Pundi -
That is incorrect, I have been in 4 acciedents that I *remember* - ifyou want a TOTAL then you must also take into account the countless accidents where I was so fucked up I didn't even realize it until I got home and wondered "I don't remember hitting a deer, I wonder how I got so much blood on the front of my car.. hrmm, and I wonder when they installed those speed bumps over infront of the elementry school" ..
You should have seen the look on my face all those mornings when I was awoken by the sheriffs CSI unit.. "PhreeX, is that your car out front? We need to talk.."
If nothing else, I think driving under the influance can have it's benifits... for instance, I was driving back from a rave once, had 5 other people in the car... well, I think I looked down to do a line off this girls ankle, and the car flew off the road... I don't remember any of it, but according to the victims families and the police, 2 people were killed, and a third critically injured... the good part? Had I NOT been so fucked up on every drug possible, the physicall pain would have been, well, painfull... the huge amounts of alcohol and barbituates made the emotional trauma of seeing my friends burned to death a little easier too..
See? It's like, there is no possible way we could have avoided the accident, but the drugs made it easier for all those involved!

sheeeeeit.
you all agree that driving stoned is hazardous? i thought that was generally accepted as the tranquilizer for all the fuck head road ragers out there. just light a spliff and pull into the far right lane, most people i know reduce their speed to a semi-sensible level when they're high. otherwise they're tearing around as if they're the only mechanized giant on the pavement

Simple rules people.
1. If your under the influence of drugs don't drive (This goes for some prescription drugs).
2. If tired (especially after a night on the drugs) don't drive. Sleep, wake up later and then drive.
And remember a car (or bike) can be a deadly weapon even if its not its indended purpose.

drinking and driving is stupid. taking drugs and driving high is stupid. smoking weed and driving is a walk in the fucking park. i dont see why it would be a problem for any pothead with some driving experience...

drugs didnt kill the superstar.
rehab did.

The "things to do while on X" in the "New to XTC" forum has just turned into a debate on driving on X. I'm being scolded! LOL

drinking and driving is stupid. taking drugs and driving high is stupid. smoking weed and driving is a walk in the fucking park.
Because it's not like weed's a drug or anything...

STOP THE FUCKING PRESS!!!
I was going to stay out of this argument because I felt that I had nothing entertaining to add here. I've driven on just about everything I've tried and I realize that it's dangerous so I try to avoid it when I can. That's all I have to say about that.
Astian, I hope you were joking when you made that comment about Aussie chicks being ugly. I've had the privilege of travelling quite a bit in my life and I have to say that the ladies from down under are the best in the world. I don't care if the girl isn't even hot, just listening to her talk to me with the unreal accent is enough to send me through the roof!
All driving arguments aside, props to Australia for having the best women on the planet. Not that there's anything wrong with the ladies here at home, but there's just something about those girls from down under!!!!!!!!!

Always remember, nothing Astian says is serious. Because obviously weed isn't a drug, it's just a plant--like cocaine, dmt, 5-meo-dmt, opium, salvia, etc. socialdysfunktion is a fucking idiot, and the reason that people should stay greenlighters longer.

Following Phreex's lead..
IGNORANCE
One for the yankee chicks... Last week I killed McVeigh, opened fire at a couple of schools, elected a president we didnt want (hangon... Aus. did that too...), grabbed a hotdog from the quickie mart and crossed the border to start a new life...
/IGNORANCE
:P

Seriously tho, it away from the Aussie vs America thing. Those familiar with the net know the futility of discriminating geographically on here. Hell - Ive got family in the states... I like it there.
There IS a difference however between forums, often set by the behavior of the mods. I can think of *one particular mod* in this forum where that applies in particular.

That out of the way, surely most ppl can see the stupidity in driving while fucked up...

Wow, who is that?

Our moderator's dad could beat up your moderator's dad. Are you 8? Go back to your precious Aus Social so you can tell all of your aussie friends how badly you told off us silly OD guys who drive under the influence.
And remember, without PhreeX, there wouldn't be an other drugs forum. It was his idea and he set the guidelines.
And to maybe contribute to the real discussion, know your fucking limits before you do something stupid.

In all seriousness I just think the main thing to remember is that if you are tired or have any doubts about your ability to drive properly then don't get behind the wheel.
I acknowledge that the main cause of the accident concerned was fatigue but the fact that the girl tested positive to mdma is going to come back to her in the court case. And imo the mdma probably contributed somewhat to her tiredness.
And to put it crudely, if you're going to hit someone, even if it can't be avoided, you really don't want anything in your system.

But who needs a car, when you've got a pogo stick

On the subject of using stimulants to counteract tiredness...
I watched a television program recently that tested peoples driving abilities while under the influence of various substances. It was very interesting.
As we all know, driving under the influence of alcohol or other depressants makes you less responsive to stimulus, thus making you less likely to spot that red light and stop in time, and tests appeared to confirm this.
Reaction tests were also carried out on stimulant users, and it was found that amphetamines and cocaine made users brains FAR more responsive to stimulus, as was to be expected. However this DID NOT make them ANY BETTER at driving WHATSOEVER. The experiment showed that stimulant drivers were far more likely to have accidents by overreacting, and that although they FELT more in control and alert, they were in fact far more of a danger than they realised.
As for the moderators of this forumn advising potential drug drivers to "keep some methasmphetamine on hand just in case", well I think that is just typical of this forumn of late.
OK then, flame away.....

wickedclown_stl: "Our moderator's dad could beat up your moderator's dad."
but my dad can't beat up any of your dads COS HE'S DEAD.
this is not a fucking joke guys, this is NOTHING to do with being Aussie or American or Yugoslavian or fucking MARTIAN! It's nothing to do with what forum it's been posted in, in fact the only thing that is relevant is that driving under the influence is potentially deadly. I don't CARE if you think that a bump of meth will wake you up for the drive home. if you're too tired to drive, then DON'T. get a cab and get your car later. OR, PLAN your night better and don't take your car. how about staying with friends and sharing a cab. convenience is not an excuse. if i robbed and stabbed passers-by just because it's a convenient way to get money, you'd call me scum. if you put others at serious risk by driving when fucked-up, just cos it's convenient, YOU ARE SCUM.
i've just read this thread and quite frankly i'm amazed and disgusted by how self-important, irresponsible and plain FUCKING IGNORANT some of the responses have been.
to the dude who said something like "can you honestly say you've never driven under the influence of any substance", i can answer YES. i've NEVER, not once, EVER driven when on drugs, alcohol, weed, even cough medicine. Why? because
a) I don't want to die.
b) i don't want to kill someone else.
c) I don't want to be arrested.
d) I don't want to be a pariah (look it up you troglodite clowns) for the anti-drug establishment in the event of everything going awry.
e) I prefer to take responsibility for my actions.
I can't believe that any of you could honestly, if you thought about it, think that driving on drugs could POSSIBLY be excusable. Put yourself in my shoes for a fraction of a second. Think about how you'd feel if your father was killed. this accident was NOT unavoidable. the driver was apparently swerving across the road for several kilometres before the accident occured. several drivers have told the police this. The accident occured when her car drifted across 3 LANES of traffic (2 of them oncoming). after colliding with my Dad, Prometheus' dad and their companion, the car continued across a footpath, through a fence, and down an embankment, rolling several times, before coming to a rest about 20 metres from the road, narrowly missing several trees. all this cos the FUCKING MORON DRIVER fell asleep and didn't want to have a power nap or take a cab home, because she was selfish.
take a good hard look at yourselves, some of the things said in here are just completely... well... fucked up. if people said or did things like that in my vicinity i'd have no hesitation in punching their lights out, then causing criminal damage to their car. at least it would stop them getting in their car.
i have absolutely NO time for this sort of fucked-up behaviour. and there are NO EXCUSES, so don't even try.
DQ.
PS phreex how the fuck are you a moderator? who the fuck decided you're worthy of respect enough to even post on this site? Bluelight is sick and wrong if mods like you can post things like what you've said in this forum. Harm minimisation? My hairy arse, you should be ashamed of yourself you fucking moron.
PPS yes i am a real person and this story is real. if you really want proof, i'll send you a copy of the news report on the day of the accident. and yes, i did hear on the news while i was at work. i ran 4km home to find a police car in my driveway and my mother in tears waiting for me. nobody should have to go through this.
