Driving High

Hehe surprisingly I almost totally agree.
Of course, there are some slim exceptions, like if someone knows they can drive fine stoned, then I have no problem with it.
I refuse to drive with someone who has been drinking, taking benzos or using ghb. I don't care if they think they can handle it or not, I won't get in that fucking car. I'd rather get in the car with a mindfucked dxm-head than a drunk.

Eeep! I've been smoking marijuana regularly for around a year and I strongly advise against driving bent!
Firstly I was experiencing the general bent feeling -> Constantly falling, tingling skin. My vision seemed to fall to about 8 frames a second in other words my vision was a little jerky. And concentrating on something and staying focused for along period of time was difficult.
However, we were going for a trip down to the gold coast to go to a car gathering, everyone who's riced their cars up goes down across the road of Pacific Fair and hangs out. I had to move my car so the people who were driving (Who wern't bent) I reversed out at bad angle and parked a good metre and a half from the curb!
Not good!
The other time I was comming down from a few hits on top of a moutain just after the sun rose and had to drive an hour drive home. I was constantly falling asleep driving and my mind would wonder off thinking of other things and not on the road ahead.
So, no driving for me while I'm bent ;)
 
i think its all right to drive while high (pot) cause when i do it i know im high and that makes me more careful. i really dont think its a good idea to drive on any thing else. espesilly drunk my friend did she was 17 and got in an accident killed her sister and best friend.and 4 people that were in the other car they were all i high school.shes in jail still for it and shes going to colledge in there.
 
I used to drive high everywhere, except tripping or drunk. I've only encountered problems while driving while rolling & drunk. Fucking nystagmus (sp) is a bitch while trying to drive. I've never even attempted driving while tripping as I would be attempting to drive through the carwash because it looks like the ocean ;) Yes, it is stupid and no one should do it, but I'm the biggest hipocrit here.
 
But if you go out there and drive while you're fucked up, and you knock over some young kid, or some single mother, or something.
I only try to run over men.
Wow.....some think even marijuana is too impairing to operate a vehicle. Yet the first time I got high on marijuana, I felt the need to pull over while driving. Now I dont really consider it.
I guess im just a "sub human irresponsible criminal little shit that deserves to be put down with a brick in the face".

I'm irresponsible too.
I drive stoned. Under no other condition will I drive, but I drive while under moderate to low doses of cannabis. I smoke an awful lot of it, so it's difficult for me to NOT drive stoned and live in a metropolitan city (without decent public transit) and keep up a healthy marijuana habit.
I wouldn't support driving on psychedelics, benzos, ghb, etc., etc. Low doses of opiates for people with high tolerances, possibly? I don't know, I haven't done enough to get a good comparison.
 
The opiates while driving I was talking about are no where near nodding doses. For a regular user of opiates, it may be dangerous to drive while not under their influence.
 
i drive while fucked up on anything. in fact the other day, not even a week ago i did 3 bags of dope, puked on myself while i was driving then side swiped a parked car going about 30. i actually was about to get out and look at the damage, thank god my friend was with me who started screaming at me to get the fuck out of there. we left quick and i got away with it. guess i got lucky.
 
It's amazing how you can feel fine to drive, then as soon as you get behind the wheel (especially with no passenger to keep you awake) you start nodding off.
 
Yeah toastyroachy, that's just fucking brilliant. I can't wait to see you get out of it when you swipe some fucking pedestrian off the sidewalk because you're too fucking wasted to see straight, let alone react to a pedestrian crossing.
The main problem with being a drug user, is that probably 25% of drug users are irresponsible retarded fuckwits who DO drive while wasted, and DO kill people.
So the question is, why the hell would you even consider driving while fucked up? When you know that your reactions are impaired, and there's no use arguing against it, because every fucking drug you listed impairs your reactions to some extent.
What do you think gives you the right to play god?

Go plaz! It's not when you're DOING drugs that you're endangering public safety, its when you're doing something stupid like DRIVING on them. Anything that gives you a significant body buzz should be off limits, because that will affect coordination.
Just about the only drugs on which I will condone driving are low to moderate amounts of marijuana or (meth)amphetamine, because any impairment is usually offset by increased concentration. Driving on anything else is simply too irresponsible.
 
you know, i wish that i could be the designated driver for all of you fools....
the problem is, i have a fear of even being in a car because of people like you. i have absolutely no trust in the other drivers on the road because ive been in a few accidents where the other driver was fucked up on something.
try to live by this---
if youre going out and plan to get fucked up, MAKE SURE there is someone sober who will be doing the driving. if not, DONT GET FUCKED UP.
its not too hard to be sober for a night. and if it is, then you have more problems than the one at hand.

For those who use drugs all day, everyday, its hard to avoid driving while high. Im not missing class just because I've got a nice buzz going.
Again, I am not driving all over the road, bumping into things or running red lights. Im just feeling a little woozy while driving.

i wasnt nodding.... i was just so fucked up i didnt realize what i was doing.... i opened my door and tried puking out the door but i swerved and SMASH and then the ironic part i puked on myself anyway. i was so fucked i didnt really understand what happend till my friend started screaming at me. now that i look back its pretty fucking funny actually, and fuck anyone who thinks otherwise

Believe it not I drive even better than when I'm sober, when I'm on coke. But e,acid,weed, and alcohol (well unless you wanna die) are no nos for me. I can hardly keep my eyes open.
