driving 5.5 hours after MDMA

Hey everyone,

I'm planning on rolling on MDMA next saturday night for my birthday. I'll have to drive back 5.5 hours in order to get to work the next day. So, I'll be starting the drive at 9 am. Legally, I don't give a shit. I'm talking about relative safety (not perfection, either). If I roll that night, maybe even 2 or 3 times (I ingest; I don't rail, although I'm open to it if it would make this safer), when should i take the last pill/rail, in order to make sure I can safely drive at 9 am? I probably won't sleep at all, and I can drink lots of caffeine. So I'm not worried about exhaustion, moreso impaired ability to drive. I need good, honest responses here. I want to do what's safe, mostly. I do need to make the drive, but I want to have a relatively safe plan for rolling. I definitely want to peak at midnight on Sunday, to roll into my birthday. Other than that, my plan is flexible.

Thoughts?

I always drive back after a night on MDMA. I just feel nice and chilled. Put some nice tunes on in the car, and drive safely :)

It is illegal to drive in Australia while there is any of it in your body. They do random testing and its a huge fine and loss of licence. Takes 3 days or so to completely dissapear.

It's illegal.

The danger in it mostly depends on how caught up you are on sleep. If you are sober after 5.5 hours, and well-rested, it's probably not really dangerous at all.

If you're sleepy, it's never a good idea to drive.

If you get pulled over, or god-forbid you get in an accident (even one that's not your fault), you might get in some trouble though.

thank you all. clarification: i have to drive for 5.5 hours, starting at 9 am. I want to know when I should stop rolling the night before in order to make this drive relatively safe.

I would not recomend driving for 5 hours after using mdma bad bad idea.

For heavens sake at least get a solid 8 hours sleep first but this sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Honestly, driving for nearly 6 hours after a late night is just stupid even if you stayed sober - by the time you're nearly home you'll seriously fatigued and putting yourself & anyone else on the road in danger.

I live in the uk and a 5.5 hour drive is like London to Scotland! I wouldn't drive the 5miles from the local station to my house!

Take one pill at 5pm and be in bed by midnight - Hardly worth it. I'd rearrage your night out so you've a day to recover and train or fly home - you'll have more fun!

It takes about 8 tot 10 hours after intake of your first tablet to be relatively sober.
You might feel sober before this time, but you definitely are not.
If you take more than 120-180 mg, you get increasing concentrations of active metabolites and it takes even longer from your last intake till the point where you are relatively sober.
Than there is the issue of being sober and being able to drive...after a night of MDMA and no sleep, you are never able to drive safely. PERIOD!

But typically, the people asking this kind of questions are just hoping for that 1-out-of-100 responses that reads like 'Oh, you'll be just fine!! LOL, just don't hit any flying saucers or leprechauns on the freeway ROFL!!!'
Get the fucking decency to ask the day off after your birthday; you know like 10,000 years in advance when it'll be.
If you can't get the day off, fuck taking drugs and just enjoy yourself without them.
Fucking idiots driving a car on drugs are one of the few legit reasons for keeping them banned...

My mates missus drove me, him and two other mates back after getting on MDMA at a rave about 9-10 hours or so after first drop, no sleep.

We crashed into a ditch and up and over into a field. Car bit fucked but got home in one piece.

I'd advise against it.
