Drinking while on neurontin (gabapentin)

Ive done this a couple of times. I would take about 3000mg of gaba and then after about 3 hours I would start drinking. Usually it would just be beer and i swear after like one beer im out of my mind....like really energetic and serious about everything almost like im on coke. The more i drink the more it intensifies that effect and by the time ive had six beers im feeling like im on a coke/meth high..not drunk at all just charged with energy from the gaba. Has this happend to anyone else? Any experiences at all drinking on gaba? IMO its pretty damn cool....but id say keep it to a once a month thing at most.

For me I get that energetic/manic feeling from gabapentin alone. When I mix in alcohol I usually just notice a nicer body high and pleasant buzz. It's a decent combination and I have found gabapentin can also help with alcohol withdrawals and hangovers..

I used to drink 2-3 brewskis and get sloshed on Gabapentin. It definitely doesn't take a lot. Yay GABA drugs
