drinking or smoking weed while on ssris

im on zoloft but ive only beenon it for 2 days im seriously thinking about stopping since its made me really tjumpy i take it int he afternooew bn it's extremely hard to get to sleep then get some creepy dreams and wake up still feeling groggy and tired quite unmotivated..so today my friend invited me to his place he said hes got a really good quality weed and wants to have a few beers
im not planning ont aking the zoloft today either but im wondering if the weed and booze will have any interactions since i have no knowledge about this
ive only taken them for 2 days and 25mg

I really don't think there would be a problem as I've seen many patients at my methadone clinic be on all kinds of SSRI's and still be smoking weed. I don't think mixing alcohol with any kind of drug is good, but even in this case I don't think it will be very harmful.

Just be careful and be safe. You know best what your body can handle.

My GF says Zoloft saved her life. However, she told me the first month was hell! During week two she told me she wanted to practically just off herself because the side-effects were worse than mono.

She ended up making it through the trough however and is doing awesome now!

After you get adjusted to the drug you can drink and smoke and be fine. Hell i'm currently taking cymbalta and will drink a whole bottle of wine or champagne to myself in a night while taking a boat load of speed and some valium.

I'm fine and I only weight 150 and im 6'0" so if I can do that anyone should be fine, that is if there is no heart condition or other chronic condition besides having a high IQ and realizing so much of the world is B.S. that getting high is the way to go, well getting high while being successful. Best part of my range rover is the mini fridge it comes with that lets me chill my alcohol as I go out at night lol
 
Hey I've never been on Zoloft but I've been on other SSRIs and SNRIs, the first few days feel weird when you start taking them since it takes time to build up in your system, but drs will tell you to keep taking it until things start to normalize --- if the side effects and too annoying, there are plenty other meds they can try.

Anyway, IME weed is fine, alcohol wasn't very good for me since I would get really sick on small amounts of alcohol, I just feel like it's always good to avoid booze when adding a new drug into your system.
 
thank you everyone well it'sonly my second day but the side ects are weird
dry mouth,weird dreams,restless(if any) sleep,upset stomach,kinda hungry but also naseous
the only ones that i mind are the sleep and being hungry one...since i used to have an eating disorder in the past so ifi i actually gain weight i might freak out i hope not and i feel a little light headed and jittery..well since today im partying i might not even take it just to be safe because of the alcohol thing
anyways do u think that accompanied by a few bowls it could excarbate anxiety?
