Drink spiking with amphetamines

I need to know if anyone has ever had their drink unwittingly 'spiked' with meth/amphetamines or if you have been responsible for spiking someone elses drink and the reason why you did it.

^ i used to spike myself with rohypnol, xanax, and e's. Damn nice, for benzos just make sure u with friends cause u can really get trashed bad. I don't understand why someone would spike anothers with amphetamines (get em tweaked)??? If that person u spiked finds out it was u, no matter what sex, ur ass is gonna get beaten up.

What a waste of shit, not to mention that it is highly illegal, this forum is about harm reduction and i dunno what answer ur looking to find.
 
Id sooner have my drink spiked with Amphetmines or Meth rather then 1,4b or another drug in it's class.

Im not a fan of the Amphetamine types but im quite positive people would not bother spiking drinks with Amphetmines, Generally as the cost involved is too much unless your a chemist and have plenty of time on your hands to be able to do such an irresponsible thing.

Im sure people will be hesitant to post with such things as, if they have spiked drinks of unknown consumers for fear of been flamed and seen as idiots for doing such a thing on a harm minimisation forum, It's plain irresponsible and what a waste of most substances that could be used by themselves to achieve an alternative expeirence.
 
I still don't get it... my drink would never be spiked by someone else cause all i drink is redbull and take stim's at clubs otherwise it would be just decreasing the effects of the stims. I think one of the worst ones is k, and then rohypnol, i never done GHB.

If anyone is going to spike a drink, they should do it to themselves, so they understand that they shouldn't do it to others esp if they don't know . Asking the question "if you have been responsible for spiking someone elses drink and the reason why you did it" was inappropriate and im sure nobody would answer that.

I can't understand why someone would spike a drink with amphetamines - unless its your mates playing a prank on you.
Generally if someone is going to spike your drink I imagine it is becasue they would want you highly inebriated rather than in a postion where your wits are sharpened and your in a position to fight back (which would happen if tyou were given speed)
No idea why you would ask this question either
 
hi, one of my friends was spiked with cut meth. (goey). When he told me the story of it he indicated the amount visually so I think he was semi aware8)... anyway , when he came down he spun out in anger of the whole situation and hurt himself. Didn't your mother tell you as a child that drugs are bad, pubs and clubs are bad,(and bowling clubs, the origin of this story) and to always cover your drink so you don't get spiked, duh.....;) laters...jbp
 
Bizzare question.... almost troll worthy.... but anywho, as the above have stated; what is the point of spiking alcohol with uppers? To sober someone up??? Cause that's what it'll do... in a tweak out kind of way 8)
Also, it's just a plain old waste of speed.........

If people were to spike drinks (which has proven to be rare, most just drinking too much booze), it would be with benzo's, K, GHB etc. etc.

Please expand on your question so we can expand on our answers...
 
I had a friend who used to do this to his friends who didn't take speed. I'm not really sure why but "he's a jerk" is probably a contributing factor. As other posters have said, meth is not generally used for malicious intent.
 
this question is a little off track...but im thinking of tryin speed, as soon as i can get it. would drinking, even in small quantities cancel out the effects of the meth?
 
No. methamphetamine is a powerful drug, and though drinking may mute some of the effects it will not cancel all of them.
 
Worse - the effects will be masked a little, but not cancelled - ie. you'll be able to 'drink more' without feeling sleepy, so you'll be heinously drunk. Can lead to awful dehydration...

I have thought of spiking my friends drinks, but never have..... I have joked with my girlfriend that I'd do it to her (she doesn't take anything) but never would. Couldn't do it to someone who isn't into drugs on a regular occurance. Not ethical.....
 
I've had my drink spiked it was great. And I've spiked my friends drinks, just for shits and giggles
 
Geez, relax....my second post and I get nailed for asking a simple question?
I wanted to know because a person that I work with tested positive in a piss test for amphetamines with the meth level being slightly higher. This wasn't a huuuuuuge amount but enough to go over the cut off.
The only suggestion they could come up with was that their drink may have been spiked as they accepted a drink off a stranger 2 days before.
I'm not sure if this person is being truthful or not.
I thought maybe someone would do it to another person as a joke to see what the reaction would be or to try to get them to have a better time.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there had done it or had it done to them. I'm not here to criticise people for doing it. I know someone that has done it to a few of her friends. Not huge amounts, just to give them a buzz. (this girl was with the girl that got tested that night).
Hope I've gotten my point across more clearly now.
I would still appreciate any comments.

Drink spiking is absolutely nothing to joke about... if for any reason at all the person whose drink you have spiked(whether it is your best friend or not), then or at any time later, decides they resent you for spiking their drink with drugs OR ALCOHOL... you can wind up in very deep legal shit.

What is drink spiking?

Drink spiking is the practice of adding alcohol or another substance to a drink without the knowledge of the person who will be consuming it. As a result the person could become intoxicated unexpectedly.

Is it legal?

Drink spiking is not only illegal, it is a serious crime, with severe penalities for persons convicted. Section 74 of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 (Vic.) states that it is an offence to introduce a drug into the body of another person. Offences under the Crimes Act relate to administration of a drug in order to commit a sexual offence. Penalites include heavy fines and imprison-ment ranging from 1 year to 25 years.

^ Uhmmm... the way I read that, makes it sound like you had something to do with the "added-performance" to her cleaning.
..I couldn't think of anything worse than having a girlfriend that would need to rely off speed to get the housework done.
 
would psudoephrine (the shit in coldnflu tablets) cause a postive result? Does anyone know of the commonly used tests and if other substances can cause false results?

there are heaps of sites on testing and how it works that will (if your friend is truely innocent) help them contest the results (and the consequence your work deals out to him).

by the way what industry are you in, i haven't heard of drug testing except in the public services?
 
Drug-testing is usually a totally random thing over here in Melbourne.
I know at Melbourne's reknown "Crown-Casino" the Surveillance Technicians/Data Cabling/Security-Response, got at least one random drug test (a couple of years ago).

I doubt drug-testing would be common for those in the building, or hospitality industry... because if this were the case, our un-employment rates would increase dramatically.

There's ways to work around the drug-tests in employment, but I don't think any of these methods are 100% success.
