I'm looking for someone that has tried both poppy tea and poppy tincture. I want to know which one gives you more bang for your buck. I want to try the tincture method, but I want to know if its even worth the time considering it takes two weeks to complete the tincture and only an hour to complete the tea method. Also Anyone that has tried one or the other please give your thoughts on this subject as well.

im sorry i havent tried tincture, but i can assure you it should not take 2 weeks...a day, max, and you will have extracted all the opiates. i recommend going on the somni forum (separate website, google it) and looking up the recipe for "about a spoonful". also i heard saffron potentiates opiates but i haven't tried it myself. good luck!

It depends on the source used to prepare the tea/tincture; tea is probably faster and easier.

Alcohol does potentiate opiates, and is a good solvent thereof, so tincture (i.e. crude laudanum) would work too.
