Hi, New here as a poster. I've read on and off for a few years trying to find tips on ways to increase my pain meds and decrease my pain. Finally resorted to using a needle about a year ago and then quit for quite some time until about a month ago when I started back because the pain was just unbearable.I have numerous diagnosis that cause pain and all of them combined cause daily excruciating pain. Now on top of it all I have about 40 broken bones in my feet and will be having surgery on the left foot here in a couple of months. I am dreading it. I know the pain from that will be intolerable. What has led me here has been to seek as much of a pain free life as possible. Any high resulting from my use has just been a bonus. That's not what I have been looking for even though I am getting kind of spoiled with it now to be honest. I am a mom of 2 grown girls with the oldest almost in the same situation as I am. Thank God the youngest is healthy and active. I just had my first taste of cotton fever last week. Didn't know what it was and ended up in the hospital. They didn't know that's what it was either thank goodness and kept giving me my pain meds to an extent. Not as much as I take at home but some. About to go through withdrawals because I'm down to my last pain pill. I hate that. I take Dilaudid 8mg 4-5 times a day at home and I still run out. I don't know how but I always do. Anyway, I'm here trying to learn safer ways to use dilaudid in a needle and any other ways to decrease my pain. Not proud of myself but I have to survive.
