I think I'll go with Altered_Soul's word "heart wrenching" really does perfectly describe my feelings reading this, simply because I can realate.. I had this feeling, may be not the same but similar, when you remember not the whole, but let your memory grab just snapshots of things that used to seem usual and everydayish, and those little things just ravage you inside.. if that made sense... I loved this oune, so felt through, and the form matches the meaning perfectly!
