Dream Trippin'

I've had a ton of psychedelic based dreams, sometimes these dreams were influenced directly from a drug, like salvia or amanita muscaria taken a few hours earlier.

A dream on Amanita Muscaria I had a few years ago involved me going to a Hospital, up to the second or third floor, where I was to have a surgery. I then see a man with his pregnant wife and I follow the doctor and man out through another door and we walk along some catwalks for a bit and then start to go up an escalator. This is where it gets trippy.

As I go up the escalator, everything I see starts to slow into a massive trail, I'm going up, but time is slowing, space is 'dilating', and as I stand along a conveyer belt on the floor, the walls begin to 'stretch' out and I see a massive ball of bright, morphing colors, I try to run to the ball, but everything spreads out....

Another dream influenced directly by Salvia. I'm up in deep space, on one of those enterprises from Star Trek. Then the ship begins to 'warp' out and the whole ship and my spatial interpretations warp out to trails of triangle fractals, warping and spinning. We then stop down and beam to a planet of cactus people. They take us into a building with several empty rooms, the cactus people come out, they have colorful flowers growing out of their heads. They then offer to do the 'dance of colors' and we tell them to go on. As they start to dance, my vision fills up with bright golden triangle fractal patterns, spinning all around and everywhere. I think I saw pyramids too.

Just the other morning I suddenly heard Jimi singing Purple Haze and I instantly saw him jamming with colors everywhere.

I had a strange dream where there was a carnival at my old high school field and surrounding area.

I was on shrooms, as were a bunch of random raver kids who I barely see, and a few random girls from the place I worked at.

everyone was on shrooms, and the dream ended.

Consider the number of psychedelics I've somewhat in my solitary psychedelic dream of smoking dmt, the dream happened before I actually smoked Dmt too.

I was in a room with a friend and smoked it and then got transported to a movie theater parking lot with a group of people and I was stumbling around for a couple minutes and that was the extent of the dream.

For anyone who has done Dmt you can tell that's obviously nothing like the experience.

I do find that dmt, salvia, and dpt in particular seem to promote more vivid dreams after use, ocassionally other psychedelics do as well but for me besides having enhanced clarity they are rarely like a psychedelic experience.

I was prescribed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pizotifen for recurrent headaches when I was a teenager. Always had mad, intense dreams during this period.

A friend recently got prescribed some to prevent migraines and apparently had intense dreams while he was on them too.

Back when i used to smoke weed,
i used to have dreams sometimes of Smoking weed.
the interesting thing is, you kind of feel high haha,
even though you are dreaming.

most recently though, i had a dream where i was in my room, and i was walking to get to my door, and then something tore me from my surroundings, i kept saying to my self, i have to open this door, but my thought proscess was so scrambled and i was having a very hard time to think, i lost the battle of the opening of the door, and fell down. and then saw some weird moving sphere that was purple,
all i can say is this is exactly like one of my salvia trips,

i guess, since i found a thread on this subject, this isnt as uncommon as i thought.

When I moved to a place where cannabis was unavailable through my medical channels, I would regularly dream of going on complicated journeys that would involve trying to get cannabis. I would finally get to smoke it in the dream, and I could swear that I felt the effects, and even for a few minutes upon waking.

I had a dream about doing large amounts of shrooms and acid that i stupidly posted elsewhere but whatever, anyway, I hallucinated in my dream and these slightly continued into my waking state as well as an odd feeling I can't really describe. This was last night..
I just woke up from a nap. Here's the dream I had.

I dreamt I lived in a house with my sister, my guy friend B, and 5 really screwed up people that were like ghosts, they were so ill. This house was messy and extremely run down. all of us were heavy heavy ketamine users. There were garbage bags of it lying in corners inside the house. K for breakfast, lunch, dinner. everyone was so loaded all the time. B had cuts all over his face from crashing into shit and I had a deviated septum and blew out chunks of my nose all the time. And though it was mostly k that was being used in this house, B had a large trunk filled with bags and bags of assorted drugs that we'd snort or shoot or ingest any way we could just to get as fucked up as possible.

this worries me a little as i don't have a destructive personality and have not ever dreamt about using drugs except these two times (and one dream about acid before I had ever done it). I haven't done ketamine or mushrooms in two weeks and acid in three. I don't take acid or shrooms often anyway and I just stopped using the ketamine which probably explains this dream. I had been doing k almost every day for 2 months up until that point then just quit like that.
After waking up from this dream i can not tell you how badly I wanted to do some. Unlike the dream about acid..
Mreh? :\

I had a dream last night about talking to a Mexican man about smoking DMT and then getting on a large roller coaster like device, and then recall thinking what that must have felt like while in the dream.

That was a weird one, I usually don't ingest drugs in dreams even though I do pretty frequently in real life, lol. (I think I have smoked weed and bought drugs, but don't remember being intoxicated from either situations.)

I've had a few dreams where I was smoking cannabis and felt high in them. Never have I experienced any other drugs while dreaming. Nor have I woken up feeling high.

I have had dreams though that were so real to me that I thought they happened. Once I dreamed of obtaining a large sum of money. Waking up I thought I had the money for at most a minute or two.

Dreams are freaking weird though. I often wake up for a few minutes and fall back asleep returning to the previous dream. This will happen like idk 5 or so times before I decided to fully get up. I like it though!

<3 Dreaming what a great topic!

This is because dreams are caused by your Pineal gland opening up and releasing dmt which is a natural phycadelic created by the human body and just about every plant. Your body also releases it in near death experiences and right before death as to why people say they "see their lives flash before their eyes" or see the infamous "white light". You can actually enter the same mindstate in waking life by meditating and taking your mind there on its own however it takes alot of practice, dedication, and patience. We only use about %10 of our brains, in dreams and on phycadelics you combine you consiousness with your subconcious and thats when brain funcion expansion takes place!

I had a dream when I was about 12 where.I smoked pot and felt high and euphoric..I had never done any drugs in my life at that time. the other day I had a full blown 5meo Dmt experience in the half asleep-half awake state. very intense!

Very recently I dropped acid in my dream even though I haven't tripped for a while now. :)

And I have also had quite a number of lucid dreams recently, in one I asked this character in the dream - a middle aged woman - if she knew that she was in a dream... she did not understand me at all and it was the beginning of the unraveling of the dream. That totally made me think of Inception, lol ;)

I might actually start reading a book about learning lucid dreaming after I finish what I am currently reading (Oliver Sacks). Thanks for pushing me over that thought bump youngjedi.
