Dream herb...

i played with that plant a little a few years back, hoping for some astral projection, lucid dream kind of deal. i found it to be like a high dose of ciclizine minus comedown but only if i went to bed straight after. extended twilight zone with clearer conscious visual imaging capacities.
no noticable effect on my dreams, though. or maybe i just forgot them. it didn't do anything for dream recall, unfortunately. tastes like utter shit to drink, too.

Agreed, dream herb tea absolutely did not taste pleasant. It had effects on dreaming for me after
perhaps the third day, it was just intenser and quite vivid dream like. I typically don't remember many of my dreams or recall them as eventuful. I know I found it to be interesting, but not something I actually cared to continue or pursue

I used Calea quite a few times over the past year or so. Most effective for me and I believe the traditional way to prepare it is to first make a tea of it, slowly drink the tea, then smoke a cigarette of it. It's been hit and miss for me, had some pretty vivid dreams which I still remember clearly and had some nights of no noticeable effect. It's gotta be the worst tasting thing I've ever drank, though.

Damn, I was just about to get excited until I read the comments... All of these crazy ass drugs that can make you see shit, feel smarter, love everyone, get super strenght etc... and they still haven't came up with a way to get us to do what we do NATURALLY (but a bit more intense) DREAM! Damn, is it that hard? Let's get to work you chemist! If they had a lucid dream solution out there I'd never do any other drug again. I'd just go to sleep, live the life I want to live, go back in the past, travel...Fuck that would be the shit. Well, I do get crazy intense vivid dreams off of xanex so I guess I'll stick to that. (Only a few times every couple months. Doesn't work well if you keep trying.)

^ Anti-cholinergics. Seriously. I don't know why people go taking them for the horribly unpleasant self-induced delirium. Take them at a sub-threshold dose once a day and you're be greeted with incredibly vivid realistic dreams, a huge increase in lucidity in dreams too, and many more completely lucid dreams if you already practice lucid dreaming to some extent.

I've yet to find anything with such a positive impact on dreams as deliriants. Really that's always been their use to me, micro-dosing to improve my dreams.

vitamin b-6 is the most intense thing to take for dreaming in my experience
50mg make me remember alot more of my dreams than i usually do
100mg makes them really vivid and intense
150mg was way intense for me a whole night of never knowing whats real and whats not when i am awake when i am dreaming etc. i have yet to try a higher dose and would suggest first some experience with lucid dreaming by it self for better control
its a good idea to do it rarely i think too much vitb6 in the body isn't good and dream recall is enhanced for days ahead

Yeah, I remember my most wacky dreams came from doing just 2 mg's of melatonin and I still remember parts of it in detail to this day. I wonder what will happen if I combine like 3 mg's with 2g's of this herb hehe... Experiment incoming!

@Wayab and dezz

My experience too, take a strong vitamin B complex and 3 mg of melatonin every night for a couple of days and you'll be having crazy vivid dreams.

Well I can say it definitely worked, whether it was the melatonin or the herb, I had one crazy dream and I can remember it quite well... I woke up twice during the night and was able to continue the dream without effort. Pretty amazing.

I was always curious about trying Calea, I just never got around to it. I do like the idea.

A good dose of Mucuna will give you immensely vivid dreams. It's the L-Dopa, and probably the nicotine too. My dreams on Mucuna were absolutely psychedelic. Even the waking state has a psychedelic tinge to it.

I haven't tried Galantamine, but that is supposed to be exceptionally good for lucid dreaming. It's an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, and a nicotinic agonist. This would mean that Huperzine A could also have a similar effect; it is also an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, and an NMDA antagonist, although it is not a nicotinic agonist. These are both derived from herbs.

2C-E always used to give me incredible lucid dreams the next night after a strong trip. It only usually worked the first time taking it after having a break from it. If I took it a week or so later, it wouldn't happen, or at least not with anywhere near the same intensity. The lucid dreams I had after 2C-E were some of the most lucid I have ever known. It's actually indescribably how psychedelic and lucid they were. The visuals were more colourful and insane than whilst tripping on the compound itself.
