Are you people crazy? This stuff is horrible and what Dr. Oz has to say on this matter is true. I am watching my husband kill himself with this drug. He is going through every symptom. He is so delusional that he has no idea what he is doing to himself. He has fallen at the table, cutting his head wide open. Having visions of animals and people attacking him. It is so bad that our son and myself can not even live with him and this has only happend in a months time. This drug is not a joking matter. The doctor I talked to said my husband will be dead from this in six months if I can't get power of attorney and save him by placing him in a mental health facility, rehab will not help him get through this. Not only has he had these side effects, but he has went from a healthy 200lbs to less than 150lbs in less than a month. So I am begging you write to your state, have this drug taken off the shelves. No child should grow up without a parent or parent lose their child because of a drug that is sold at your local gas station. Do something. Put an end to this nightmare!!!

Wow the utter hyperbola. That's just fucking stupid. U want a product banned for everyone just because yr husband was unable to show some restraint with it. Here's a tip, toots, it wasn't the bath salt acting irresponsibly, it was your husband. Trust me, no one here will be writing to their representatives to unjustly ban substances while equally harmful ones (ie alcohol and tobacco) remain legal. It will only take that product to the black market and perpetuate the cycle of greed, violence and misery known as the War on Drugs. Sorry to sound so unsympathetic, but I just can't fucking stand how people blame the drug when they fuck themselves up like this. Education goes a long way and that's all it takes to tell some that this stuff is bad news and to not mess with it. Obviously your husband couldn't have been bothered to do even the most basic research on them. That being said I WILL NOT be writing my state, instead I will be practicing restraint and responsibility by NOT TAKING BATH SALTS. There, problem solved.

The media hype only makes matters worse, it's sad really. I had no idea what this stuff was, but then one day on the news heard them announce "NEW LEGAL DRUG CAN BE BOUGHT IN SMOKE SHOPS AS BATH SALTS" and immediately caught my attention as to what all the hype was about, they make it sound so intense any curious kid would be intrigued by it.

Sometimes keeping things on the downlow can do more harm reduction than letting the whole world know about it.

have him read Bluelight regularly. He may well learn how to keep his drug use in context and not let it get out of control.

Nobody here is going to write their congressmen to have a series of drugs taken off shelves without supposing that users of these drugs will also be thrown into prison. Government never simply bans the distribution of a chemical. They criminalize its use and greatly exacerbate whatever intrinsic harm the chemical causes. Government cannot be trusted.
