50 mgs- Im Injection
I had planned to save this one for Halloween but a nagging curiosity and a strong desire to give this one a shot came over me. I also felt sort of a corniness to be doing it on halloween too as I didn't want the traditional holiday celebration to influence the trip. After reading a lot of information and talking to a few people I decided injection would be the route to go.
I dissolved the 50 mgs of the white powder in some distilled water took the needle and injected right into my thigh. A nervous excitement came over me as the plunger went in as I've heard a lot about this chemical. Within a few minutes I already knew the route of administration I decided to take was going to have profoundly different effects than the purported nasal doses I've been reading about. There was a sort of rise in energy in I guess my chakras (not very knowledgeable in this realm) up my body that I felt with a very slight tug but this was extremely easy on the body and not once through the whole experience did I feel sick, or scared like i've heard with insuffalation.
As I felt the rise in energy I began slipping away and drifted with my eyes closed. Patterns and forms started to swirl behind closed eyes. As the effects gained momentum they started to gain depth and push me through, weaving and coursing at different angles. This was not as forceful at this dose as I was expecting, it was certainly more along the lines of LSD than smoked DMT and Salvia. Long rectangular blocks seemed to course through my mind that had great depth to them and stretch out past where the mind's eye could fathom. As I settled in I'm guessing around the 15-20 minute mark the experience became very erotic, I opened my eyes at this point once again and saw vague silhouettes of female forms in front of my eyes. It became very ego centered for a good few minutes and I felt a very animalistic desire to have some female company with me at this moment.
After a few minutes of exploring that erotic scene, I once again closed my eyes and I got lost in the time distortion, I wasn't sure if I had been on this stuff for 10 minutes or 10 hours but I just continued to go with it. A bunch of eyes started popping up everywhere, blinking as if they were watching me, not really interested in my presence just simply acknowledging it. Then a new scene presented behind closed eyes which became a more mystical overtone and subdued. I saw meditating monk figures stack on top of each other all meditating and replicating themselves. I definitely saw the sacramental potential of this chemical after this scene. Many more scenes took place a lot of them got lost in the space of time distortion.
I had a slight pull a good while in to the trip into a void type space where I seem just to be laying there with no visuals or even much emotion, just an empty space of reflective thought. After that scene I put on some music and I saw interesting fractalized shapes shoot energy and slight color in various directions of the mind's eye visual landscape. It was my own song I was listening to and I was in awe that I could create such a complete piece of music stemming from my own brain. I was also somewhat frustrated as I saw the limits of the sound quality for the program I was using and some of the room for improvement in my music but nonetheless I think it's decent tripping music.
I eventually came to a point where I felt the effects beginning to waiver slightly and I noticed the veil of DPT seem to be lifting. It slowly worked it's way out and occasionally surprised me by a few more scenes and jolts of euphoric pleasure.
I really enjoyed this dose, this trip showed me how much different ROA's physical effects probably have a heavy influence on some of the mental effects. This certainly isn't a chemical I would use recreationally and I did find it deep but I never felt flung into a frightening headspace. It definitely has a very erotic component and very reflective, spiritual aspects as well.
Comparisons To DMT: I chose 50 mgs to see the relative potency to DMT since that's what I've read it's most similar to. After some some reported experiences of very negative effects and an overdose at 130 mgs of IM injection reported on Erowid, I decided to start off somewhat light and plan to work my way up.
Comparing the two I have to think this ROA is more similar to an Ayahuasca trip (which I have no experience with) than a Smoked DMT trip. As I mentioned earlier there seems to be a veiled aspect to DPT, whereas smoked DMT feels directly connected into the hyperspace frequency. Dpt seems to manifest it's scenes and hold me there (the only aspect I found similar to Salvia) for awhile whereas DMT just seems constantly propelling me forward at speeds where my mind cannot grasp the information being provided. DMT has a more perfected sense of otherworld intelligence whereas as DPT like LSD seemed more a reflective sea of thought.
A very complete and enjoyable experience, I want to explore the higher dose as well but it's very comforting to know that if the higher dose feels more dissonant and to much I can always go revert to this dosage range for a very worthwhile journey.
