Everyone is freaking out over plastic guns.
Sigh. I love how liberals hate Trump's anti-constitutional positions until it's something they agree with. What happened to the god damn 1st amendment?

It's not the first time Trump has verbally been anti gun or NRA, just don't forget how quickly he also does a one eighty and reverses everything he says. You sound like you may be falling for his lip service honestly.
And people kill people, not guns. I get it.The blueprints themselves are information, not a gun.

It still doesn't seem right.
Two other points, it's not actually possible to stop the spread of information anymore. And also, we don't make guns out of steel "just cause". You can't just 3d print an ar15 and expect it not to blow up in your face.
Fwiw, "the media" in this scenario would be you. I haven't researched this beyond a tweet and what you have told me just now.Why doesn't it seem right? Because the media's scared you into thinking everyone's going to have a plastic gun overnight?
Over 2,000 people already have the AR-15 plastic 3D gun blueprints. Where's all the plastic gun violence?
The reality is that 3D printers are cost-prohibitive. An actual AR-15 costs less than a 3D printer. No one logically thought this one out. It's a big nothing burger.

So, no.
OkCNN reported on 2,000 people already having downloaded the blueprints.
The cool thing about prices in technology is that they tend to go down fairly quickly. Did you know your cell phone has more computing power than the computer that sent Neil A. to the moon?Google prices on a 3D printer, and an AR-15. These are numbers you can look up yourself.
Ok

You're right. There isn't an apt comparison for guns at all. They are pure evil.
No, it's much more likely that the current interpretation of it is wrong and needs to be corrected. You think repealing the 2nd amendment is the right decision?
Just another reason it needs to be regulated. The cost of regulation doesn't have to be expensive either. Software could handle most of the hard work.plastics just not strong enough for the pressures and temperatures involved. No gun in the world is build to use plastic for 100% of the construction materials for exactly this reason.
