dosing question

i just got a prescription for concerta, its 34mg. i havent been on any ADD medication for about three years, but tommorow i REALLY need to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time. which also means i cant get sick/ too gone. if i take two pills instead of one should i be ok? im just going to take them normally. i weigh about 140 pounds and am a guy if that matters

Just take one, whole and uncrushed. They are time release and that's a fair whack of methylphenidate to take for someone with no tolerance. More important is to get a good rest and food in your stomach - otherwise you may feel like hell afterwards or get really scattered.

I second that, do not under any circumstances crush. Take 1 whole as prescribed, 34mg is a lot of methylphenidate for a low tolerance, you'll be ripping the plaster of the ceiling.

As stated it's modified-release so 34mg will do you just fine sir.

I think you may need to take two to be honest. It may be 34mg but that's released throughout 12 hours.
