Dosing of IV heroin

Whats up guys. I've been sniffing dope for quite some while and i do like 1 1 and 1/2 bags at a time but like 4-5 throughout the day cause i like to stay high :) . So, in the future i know im gonna be curious about IV. I wanna know how much to reduce the dose, is it 50% - 25%, so like 3/4-1 of a bag instead of 1 and 1/2? Thanks for the input man. Im pretty faded right now so sorry if its hard to read.
 
1.5 bags at a time. That must be really tough on your nose. Dear god, switch to iv or quit!

Start low, and see what works. Injecting itself is something you'll have to get used to as well. It's different too. You may feel a stronger urge to puke, you may be suprised by the rush. I've seen sniffers puke their guts out and they aren't even high, but just suprised by IV.
 
Well i have a tolerance man, sometimes i just do 1 bag, but ometimes i do 1 1/2 whats the big deal lol.
 
I think he was being sarcastic when he said 'whoa 1 1/2 bags" that is a LOW dosage/tolerance.
 
start out with 1 cap... then go from there... if you sart to get a serious headake... your doing to much...scale it back a little
 
I would consider waiting a long time or never going to IV.

Once you do IV for a short while you will not be able to go back to snorting the dope. I mean, yes you can. But it will not get you high man. I used to do 2-3 bags snorted to get high for at least 3 or 4 hours. After iv'ing for a while when I switched... I went back and tried to snort. 3 bags didnt even buzz me. It took 5 bags to get a buzz and it was still weaker than what 3 bags snorted used to do before I ever IV'ed.

Also the IV tolerance raises much faster, not to mention you have to worry about getting new needles... and its harder to hide if you are around people that you dont want to know about you're habit ie: parents, friends, g/f

Just read more and think about it. I might get flamed by some but its the truth. You might get a better rush from IV at first but eventually you're doing 3 bags at once to get a buzz that doesnt last as long. You're just getting the initial good rush.

the metamorphisis from insullfation to intravaneous is a process that during the initial stages should be executed with complete caution and introspection.

during your first IV escapade I suggest that you start with half of $10 worth. because you have a decent enough tolerence you probably could administer the whole dime bag but just be careful. initially, start small and if you do not acheive the desired affect work your way up with still SMALL dosages.

think of it like getting your hair cut. if you cut off too much hair and it looks bad you're fucked. but you can first trim off a little amount and then just keep on trimming to acheive your desired look - but in this case your desired high.

that must be the first analogy between a barber shop and IV heroin use. ;)

Kandy is exactly right, BTW. most junkies that make the switch from snort to IV find that snorting is no longer desirable. one cannot even fathom snorting a bag anymore and eventually you will not even do the dope unless you have a rig ready to go.

the saying goes: if you can't put your dinner in a spoon, ya don't want to eat at all!
 
Thanks for all the responses, I wasnt planning on doing it now i just wanted to try it in the next few years when im ready. Is it possible to just try it, or do it on a special occasion? I've heard its kind of irresistable. Oh yeah, the bags i get are pretty big they're a big pile of powder and its decently pure thats why i do so little.

Yo is a 25 mcg fentanly patch enough for someone with my tolerance, should i just wear it for a while and then smoke the rest?
 
i was a rec user for about 3 days then did it everyday for 4 weeks...today is the first stop i have not hand any heroin.
 
whoa dude get ready for a rough ride. good luck man ,know that you can do it and no matter what you will have to do it someday anyhow.really best of luck to you.
 
I find the BEST way is to take a VERY small shot, just strong enough to judge the potency, then make a blast rigth after.

My good I crave heroin, but bupe and 50mg valium is an ok substitute for today=D I just hope my hash comes soon.
 
Don't trya bag, a bag can kill you some places. The one time I have OD'ed on heroin i was going to buy a whole bag, but I used money for the busride to the dealer and could only afford half a bag.

I even did the "wait a little when the plunger is halfway in thing", and that felt weak, so I pushed it straight home, BAM. I fell asleep standing in the bathroom and hit my head on the zink which banged my awake but I was on the floor with bloody and a needle still in my arm. If I had enough money for a whole bag that day I would have been dead.

Wouldn't mind seeing more of that dope again....
 
hmmm. i think something is amiss. when i shoot dope i dont feel the effects for a minute or so. then bam, warm and fuzzy all over.
anyone know why this might be?

I'd venture to say an OD is a "big deal". Why don't you start off with a tiny amount and work your way up? I've said it before and I'll say it again: you can always do more but you can never do less.

60 seconds is normal; I wouldn't worry about it.
