Benzos dose, duration of treament or use, W/D severity and W/D duration

i'd like to get a good idea of how long benzo w/d might last, and what chances i have of going through post acute. it'd surely be helpful to others too

could you state the duration and dose of the treatment or habit, and the duration of withdrawal, and whether you went through post acute?
 
I don't know about benzo withdrawal, but as far as any drug goes, the post acute symptoms are usually a bitch and last a lot lot lot longer than the first few severe symptoms of withdrawals.

And it all depends of how long you have been taking those benzos for, and at what doses, and whether or not you are followed by a doctor that can offer you a tapering plan...
 
(me) 1.5 mg per day avg. probably 4 years

it's about week three but my wd was complicated by softening the cold turkey landing by taking 2 lunesta or ambien at night and 1 in the morning, after several days 1&0.5, after several more 0.5 at night, and at the 2wk mark hopped off

the last week i was on clonazepam i was only taking 0.5-0.75mg per day and dying because of it, so WD didn't start right when i got off

i know that's a (relatively) low dose but this is pretty damn shitty lol. can't imagine how it'd be if i didn't take a few steps down like that
 
Well I know there are doctors that could help, but I don't really know much about benzos i only take them when I'm dopesick... But I saw a website that might help you a lot.. Trying to find it right now.
 
me: klonopin 3 mg 2 years. withdrawal: borderline psychotic for almost 2 years, hallucinations and severe panic anxiety. Started to fully recover and got myself addicted again 2 months ago. I hope this withdrawal wont be as bad as the last. Keep in mind that I have many pre-existing mental illnesses and it made the withdrawal worse.
 
i.e. I was crazy before i ever started klonopin, but not to the point of hallucinations. It gets better though after about the 6th month. Im hopping that myy withdrawal wont last more than a month this tiem cause it doesnt make sense for the withdrawal to last longer than the duration of use.
