Hi I'm currently prescribed 2mg of alprazolam a day for social anxiety. Most of the time I only take 1.5mg being 1mg when I wake up, another .5mg after lunch, and .5mg in the evening if I'm going out. If I stay home, I usually skip that dose unless I'm having a really hard time sleeping which isn't often.

Recently I gave some people a ride home that I didn't know too well and my script went missing. I won't be able to get a refill until Friday, so I got a hold of 15 .5mg klonazepam for now which I've never taken. I looked up the conversion on here, and it said .5mg of alprazolam = .5mg of klonazepam. I'm curious if you could give me a rough estimate on how long I should wait until I redose or if I need to at all. I know klonazepam lasts longer, but I'm still unsure. The person I got them from told me I should just take them like my alprazolam since they don't feel as potent according to him, but I'm pretty sensitive to benzos, and I don't want to go into work tomorrow and look like an idiot. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You should keep your xanax locked up in a safe, and only take out what you need each day and keep that on your person, not anywhere in your car that someone could take it.

I say this not to get on your case but because you don't deserve to have to be faced with withdrawals/seizures as a result of running out of your medication.

Clonazepam is significantly longer lasting than xanax, you should start off with just 0.5mg of it to see how it's going to effect you.

Yeah I totally agree, I was trying to be nice giving them a ride but I guess there's always going to be dicks out there who will always take advantage of someone no matter what the situation is. Thanks for the help though, I know you're always looking out.

Also it's good hearing from you again I haven't been around in awhile. Going over to check out what's up in CD social right now
