Oh my god, you mean people use GHB for something other than raping people? I never knew! The media has led me astray! Damn you fox news!@#$!

haha, i know right... the media is a huge joke - i personally don't know anyone who've used ghb as a date rape drug, but i do know people who've used it to party and have fun (although i know it can be used in the way the media is portraying it)

Sure, though so can alot of other more readily available substances. Doing so would be intensely immoral, of course, though doen't that kind of thing result from the normal stuff people consume in bars all the time. I mean ethanol and GHB do both affect the same parts of the brain in the same way...

when i saw this on tv i was rolling on the floor, and it takes a lot for me to just laugh out loud.
 
The media got the name right but the method wrong, trying to drug someone to unconsciousness on GHB so you could have your way with them is impractical.
It would take at the least 6+ grams of GHB to knock someone out stone cold, and that much salt is hard to get in someone fast enough without them tasting it.
They also would not be out for long, and would be horribly heavy to move.

Now what GHB would be good for is subtly influencing someone, get a couple of grams in someone and they see the world through horny rose tinted glasses.
 
It would be hard to slip it in someones drink, unless it was a salty drink perhaps, and they'd have to pretty drink already off the alcohol anyway. Its really rediculous since drunk people get taken advantage of all the time and where's all the media sensation then. Most likely they gave up on that in 1933 when everyone had a momentary glimpse of sanity before ultimately succumbing to the endless mass insanity that rules the world today.
 
The thing is, alcohol + GHB = death. I have no doubt that even a small dose of GHB + lots of alcohol causes unconsciousness in most people, but it's not safe by any means. Then again, I guess people who want to rape other people are sociopaths and not worried about the well being of their victims. At the very least you'd think they'd worry about themselves and not do it so they wouldn't be charged with murder.
 
^^ IDK, I've survived that combo before, didn't exactly straight knock me out cold either, though, I've got quite a tolerance to these kinds of things. But yeah, it isn't something I'd be reccomending to just anyone either.

1,4-Butanediol is soluble in water. Put a pack of dots in, oh I don't know, say 500mls and drink slowly. See how you go.

I might be able to get some of these beads soon. If so, I'll let everyone know how it goes!

So, really, all we need is a warning on the box advising children not to eat AquaDots if they're under the influence of alcohol.
 
yeah its actually 1,4 butanediol... which isnt as fun as GBL from what ive heard... but hell 1,4 butandiol is really easy to get for me... its used in photography.
