Dopesick after 2 uses...

Sup guys. First lemme just say that I am almost 23 yrs old, and have been IV'ing heroin since I was 16, so I am no noob. Alright, so heres my problem. Saturday and Sunday, both days i picked up 1 .1g bag of dope, and IV'd it. It was good quality dope and had me euphoric and itching my ass to the point of bleeding for almost 8 hours. So, Monday roles around, and i wakeup, FUCKING DOPESICK?!!?!?

Now, I'm not talking FULL BLOWN dopesick, im just talking certain symptoms. Everything sorta smells shitty, my motivation is low (besides trying to get more dope), my stomach is FUCKED (nonstop nausea and also bad runny shits), have a general dysphoric feeling, complete loss of appetite, loss of libido, and intense nonstop cravings.

I'm NOT experiencing - hot or cold flashes / goosebumps / sweats, no yawning or teary eyes, my pupils are not dilated, no aches/pains, no RLS or trouble sleeping.

This is my 3rd day clean and I'm still experiencing the symptoms i first described. The only thing that I can think of, is that since i've been an on / off opiate user for almost 7 years now, my body adjusts to opiates EXTREMELY fast and my tolerance builds FAST. But cmon, 3 days of dope sickness now from 2 .1g shots? This is pissing me off.

So, my main question is, whats your theory on why I am dopesick after only using twice (and I hadn't used since I went to rehab in October, well atleast no opiates), and have any of you experienced anything similar to this before? Thanks. :!:p:!
 
I've never IVd drugs so I may sound like a Dumbass but have you considered the idea that you are sick with a flu virus or are coming down with something, like a bacterial infection?
 
If you have been using opiates for seven years and had prior dependencies to them, using for 2-3 consecutive days could definitely be enough to experience minor withdrawal symptoms after ceasing use. An opiate naive person wouldn't experience withdrawals after 2 days of use, but the same thing has happened to me. Having been dependent on heroin/methadone for years previously, after some clean time, using only a couple times would have me feeling minor withdrawals after just a couple uses.

Tolerance will skyrocket fast and a dependence can develop after only a few days if you end up using again.
 
Errr, scaredstraight, i really dont think thats the case. I know what being dopesick feels like. I guess well see though if I end up getting another bag today. It is possible though so well see.

Oh and thanks for that reply Brokedown. That def. seems to be the case. I remember the first couple times I experienced dopesickness was after using oxys or dope daily for about a month. The past couple times I've been addicted to opiates it seems like the time period it takes to build tolerance and get dependent just keeps decreasing and decreasing. Fucking sucks man.
 
Either way, I hope you feel better. I only know what full blown w/d feels like so I have little understanding about being dopesick without feeling achey and all the other symptoms you said you don't feel. The intense cravings I definitley comprehend.
 
Alright, so i was DEFINITELY dopesick. My buddy ended up coming through with a .1 of H and i IV'd it and now i feel great. Stomach feels great, no more nausea or shitting, i got good euphoria and plenty of energy, nice opiate itch as well. Also, my boy came over and smoked a blunt of kush with me, and im about to pack a bowl.

I never liked smoking weed with opiates, made me sick. For you guys that like smoking it with opiates, is it like taking a Soma with opiates?
 
^ I just feel the weed helps the high. The weed takes away any nausea the opiate might cause, and the weed also adds a nice finishing touch to the euphoria. I think taking Soma with H would be a lot more sedating than smoking weed on H. I dunno, I just like to smoke weed on any drug im on, or when im sober :p pot is my first love, so it holds a special place in my book!
 
on a similar discussion i have a question yall might be able to help with-i have never use a needle before until this year. im a psycho ocd person and wont do anything unless im doing it perfectly so i practiced with water and a new needle new cotton new spoon etc.(lame i know but id rather not fuck it up) so i shoot water fine and dont hurt myself. ok. so now im getting the SMALLEST piece of tar ready. the smallest i swear cuz i know people who are addicted and do huge pieces. (sorry i have add) but ANYWAYS i shoot this in my arm...perfect vein and all that. i get itchy and feel the way yall described...euphoric and calm. well that night-about 6 hours later-i start feeling like im going through withdrawal...puking stomach feeling sick headaches nausea light-headed and thats ALL i could think about. im not hooked already am i???
 
This is strange, because I am having the exact opposite happen to me. I've been using heroin for two years, and for the past 5 months(since january pretty much) I haven't gotten dopesick at all. The heroin I get is from guadalajara mexico, black tar of course, from a "xalisco boys" type crew. Now, the quality has not changed whatsoever but I went from going into full withdrawal, from doing half a gram a day to two thirds a gram IV to doing the same amount with very similar quality without getting dopesick whatsover. This is not an isolated case, as my girlfriend who does the same amount and my other friends who do the same amount of the same dope don't get sick either. Its very strange(and very fucking relieving). In nashville, tennessee, united states btw.

No, your not hooked(well mentally maybe lmao) but no symptoms as you described(vomiting,lightheaded, etc) is normal for people starting off. Your body isn't that used to being fucked up. Trust me, when you go through withdrswal, after a few months or so of continuous using, YOU WILL KNOW IT. It is the worst pain I have ever felt, and I have felt it many many times..
The thing about it is, by the time you want to stop, you won't be able to; you will be fucked. Royally, fucked. It is not fun.
