Hello everyone,

I'm a long-time visitor (~2008 when I was 18). Since then, I've been passionate about drugs and have chosen my profession accordingly. I have a PhD in Molecular Modeling and am currently working in academia designing drugs on GPCRs (dopamine and serotonin receptors). I decided to get rid of my old account and create this one which is linked to my blog ( dopeisbeautiful.com ). There's not much here yet, but I'm looking to motivate myself by interacting with you (mostly on neuroscience/research sub-forum, I guess). The main aim of the blog is to provide molecular model-based understanding (visual images and videos) of receptors and drugs, from my area of expertise (molecular modeling). It's very visual indeed, and I hope to be able to share the excitement I felt when I first saw these films generated from matter on a microscopic scale!

As far as drugs are concerned, I haven't used “hard” drugs for 2.5 years. After more than 10 years of ups and down in my (ab)use, I had to give up my love of dissociatives, empathogens and GHB to function properly. I consume mostly I discovered kava, a relaxing plant that doesn't build tolerance like alcohol and is really excellent for scratching the monkey off our shoulders without the consequences of hangover or withdrawal. My first blog post is about it.

Please feel free to ask me questions or comments. Wish you happy drug use and happy life :)
