Here's a song / poem I wrote: (A little backround - my brother is an herion addict whose now spending about 7 years for distribution)....
dope

engulfed by you
so sick i knew
now your gone,
what do i do
search for more
can't open this door
bars all around
loud banging sounds
where am i why am i here
im scared and quivering with fear
just give me more
i feel so sore,
dont contend
cant pretend
im nothing without
you throughout
locked in a cage
ripped apart by rage
without any dope
its just no hope
just let it creep
go to sleep
dont wake up
yea i had enough

If a man can't do his job, then fire him for cause. If he drives a car while impaired, then punish him for driving under the influence. If he takes a drug that impairs his judgment and he hits someone, then jail him for assault. But don't imprison him simply for using drugs.

That was a good poem. My cousin used to be a heroin addict. He stole from his family and robbed houses to get $$$ for his habit. He spent alot of time in jail and rehab. I think hes finally cleaned up his act, at least i hope so.

Thanks for comments. Angie- yea, my brother used to steal shit from us too, until he got kicked out. He was clean for about 5 months but fucked up again. It's very rare to find a fully recovered herion addict. I hope things work out.
