Hello all,

I am relatively new user to H. With a past history of oxy abuse, ect. I recently have gotten ahold of some tar, and tried smoking it ( foil method ) for the first time last night, and oh boy. Man, I was so high, feeling just great, it was awesome. A lot more than I expected for this nasty looking tar stuff I got, hah. I prefer powder form personally.

Next thing a guy knows, he is puking his guts out for a couple hours it seems the next morning ( 6-7 am ). Sorry to be to descriptive and foul, but the vomit was very distinctly yellow in collor, more so liquid but slighty foamy in texture. And I can remember the taste of talc, or chalk, or something of that nature. It reminded me ALOT of the taste / texture of chewed pills. ( But there was no pills involved in my night, just smoking tar Heroin).

This seems to happen to me whenever I smoke H or Roxies.. I get the worst morning sickness afterwards. Does anyone else have similar experiences and or know why this happens to me?

Thanks All

Sounds like a typical opiate hangover, a result of dosing too much the night before and not having a large enough opiate tolerance. Puking and feeling like shit the next day is a pretty common side effect in that case.

Yeah, that is what I figured was goin' on. Need to tone it down, once you start smoking it seems like you never stop.

Sadly, I have, just recently. And the worst part is..just how nice that it is.

Such a double edged sword, and one slippery - slope. :(

Absolutely...and you shouldnt just say "sadly"..you should be terrified of that slippery slope...of course if you have been addicted before you basically know the game..just know it is even many times over more intense with heroin than with oxy. Just remember where it is you are headed with it.

Once you "graduate" to needles, there's no going back. I was once like you, then I graduated, then I failed out of college, then I disappointed my family not only because of college but because of my drug addiction which remained in the shadows until I started violently withdrawing at home. I had no other choice but to confess, ask forgiveness, and get treatment. I am now more than 2 months in bupe treatment. All I want is for it to end, but my demons keep calling me back. It's a never ending fight man.

Yeah guys I really appreciate you responses and input.

I agree with what all you had had said - it's tough a tough battle fighting your inner demons. And unfortunately, we all have our own inner demons.

It's a never ending fight man.
Yeah, basically a war of attrition, with the only way out being death. Even after a long time of complete sobriety, one will never forget what opiates feel like. How can you forget that rush/feeling? This is one of the saddest facts of becoming an opiate addict. You will never forget.

I also get morning sickness after a night of opiate use, even chronic use can entail a whole raft of dry reaching problems. I have a keen sense of smell in the mornings after a night with opiates. The smells are almost always disgusting and once I smell toilet cleaning bleach in the air, it is over.

WHAT THE F* GUYS. AM I BLIND OR HAS NO ONE TOLD THIS KID OF THE WITHDRAWALS THAT ARE SURE TO COME HIS WAYIN THE FUTURE ?? Though this was a harm-reduction site ... lol.

OP. PLEASE. I know heroin feels good, but after two weeks straight of using, you're going to wind up waking up with a LOT more than nausea.

Pretty soon every 12 hours you'll be vomitting, with diahhrea, extreme cold chills, extreme anxiety and misery, flu-like symptoms x10, etc etc etc etc. Please man, please, don't throw your life away. Read the stickies on heroin withdrawals.

I couldn't take the withdrawals, so i went to suboxone. It took TWO MONTHS to feel normal. Then i relapsed, and was going through withdrawals within a week. Got on methadone, and now here i am 29 days off of it, still feeling like shit.

You have no idea what you're in for.

Yes there is a big difference. In the beginning, before you have a habit and tolerance, you get sick from literally doing too much dope. It's the H itself making you sick. But then... after you get used to it and become dependent, it flips, and you get sick without it, the dope being the only thing that takes the sickness away. Very fucked up.

Many people do get the two confused. One, is just an annoyance... the other.. life changing.

You are totally correct, Mr.Scagnattie, I did phrase my title incorrectly. I am fully aware of actual "dope sickness", from opiate dependency VS. getting sick from using TOO much dope. My situation being the later.
The damn problem with opiates, as stated above, the feeling is too great. It is a hard one to run away from, let alone never feel again in your life.

^^The only time I've felt what OP is talking about is from fentynal...where I was still nauseated the next morning ugh. It's a different type of nauseous. Like severe seasickness.... I only know what it's like to be nauseated because my body is telling me I need it....OP, the best to you. I pray you stop before you're in really deep.

Thank you for your kind words, Stargazer.

The morning after sickness has generally only happened when I used vaporizing/smoking for the ROA. Back when I was abusing roxi 30's, when I would smoke them I would get the same morning sickness/ vomiting bullshit as I did recently with H.

Does anyone know if different ROA provide different sides? I know I can eat, snort, IV an equal amount of opiate and for the most part I don't get that sickness the next AM, but if smoked that's a different story...

I hate it when people make drug usage a death sentence, or a life long problem. Personally I dont think anyones addicted, just extremely committed. Doing dope is like masterbating, after the first time you do it you continue to do it for the rest of your life, BUT if you wanted to stop you could. Dopesickness is a 3-7 day really really bad flu. But guess what guys, it goes away and you never have to go through it again, you'll always remember how great getting high was but eventually you have to pay the consequences of feeling that good. And yeah, you'll ALWAYS remember how great it was, but thats not all you have to think about, theres a lot of other good things in your life that you can think about.
